MickeyMac 01-10-2009, 03:39 PM I've always had a thing for Miss Landers myself
Hughsgirl 01-12-2009, 11:34 PM June was my favorite female, but I did like Julie Foster best when it came to Wally dating.
70s show watcher 01-17-2009, 02:04 AM miss rayburn she always cracked me up with her stuffy manner
Mikado 01-17-2009, 03:07 AM I need pictures

I agree. I also liked Miss Canfield.

coolfocus 05-05-2009, 09:55 PM First has to be Mary Ellen Rogers, a.k.a. Pamela Beaird. As the 50's typical teen she was the absolute best. Nobody can touch her. Unfortunately, there's nothing about her anywhere.
Second Miss Canfield, a.k.a. Diane Brewster. Later known as Samantha Crawford in the Maverick series. She was also very beautiful.
As old as I am, I really can't see real attraction for fickle teenagers like Mary Ellen and Julie... although I used to; Julie especially. I remember I was kept from liking Alma Hansen because of her parents-- no way would I have wanted involvement with a girl through whom her mother tries to live her own discontented life.
Even though I'm really too old now for Miss Landers and Miss Canfield, they would be A and B. My girlfriend, incidentally, actually looks like Miss Landers and is a 4th grade teacher.
June?... well, I suppose we're not supposed to consider this in regard to their state on the show... but she's alright! Just too worrisome and not clued in on what goes on among boys. Still, it's not that easy to stop thinking of her as the mother you wished you had, even when you're older now than the character, who doesn't age.
Mrs. Rayburn and Mrs. Mondello... are you serious??
MickeyMac 05-06-2009, 04:48 PM Mrs. Rayburn was so strict. I think all the students would be afraid to cross her.
tanquant 05-10-2009, 04:59 PM Miss Landers She was such a great teacher

I was asking who was your favorite not which one you were attracted to. But your answer is fine. ;)
Marvo301 05-11-2009, 05:53 PM Miss Landers. I wish all teachers were as understanding and supportive as her.

That too and when I think of Miss Landers I think of the Van Halen song "Hot For Teacher". I can see why Beaver was into her :happyface
dav4463 05-16-2009, 05:18 AM Julie Foster by far was the cutest girl on the show. She is really good looking as a young college student on Bewitched also!

Julie was definitely a cute girl & she seemed like she'd be more fun to hang out with than Mary Ellen.
Dusty's Fan 05-18-2009, 11:33 AM Cheryl Holdridge ("Julie") also played an ebullient college student on an episode of 77 Sunset Strip, starring Efrem Zimbalist Jr. and guest-starring Andrew Duggan & Alan Reed Jr.
MickeyMac 05-18-2009, 01:08 PM Lets not forget Cherly Holdrige's guest spots on Bewitched and The New Leave It To Beaver
basenjib123 05-22-2009, 03:29 PM Miss Landers (Sue Randall) ...she was my first older woman crush when I was about 10 years old. Sue died very young...too bad.
Schmoopie 08-30-2009, 02:34 AM I'm still in the middle of my LITB marathon, and I have a long way to go. However, so far I guess my favorite girl would be Ms. Landers, but June would be high on the list.
