Joe is such a caring, supportive guy who always knows what to say. He would have been a great psychiatrist or at least a bartender. He even proved successful at hostage negotiating. (Well, maybe just Antonio thought so. :lol: ) Some classic Joe moments...

His proposal to Helen. "That is our life. Those are our kids."
His emotional meltdown. "Where do I go when it finally dawns on me that my life sucks?"
The grease gun/fire extinquisher fight. "You stab the plane and the cello here gets it!"
Tom Turtle. "There was a turtle and his name is Tom. He loved his dad and he loved his mom..."
Trying to talk Bob out of killing Antonio. "And every year, she makes us these disgusting lemon bars..."

Gotta love Joe. He was like the sensable glue that kept everything in tact. When their mother left, he really had to step up and take care of two kids, Brian and their father, since he went crazy.

He was so sweet to Helen even before he was interested in her as a girlfriend and he could sure deliver those passionated kisses that he and Helen were famous for.

He had so many memorable lines, but you're right, he sure could deliver those heartfelt, serious, dramatic lines that Wings is so well known for.

I know there are may memerable Joe quotes but the two that comes to mind now is in Taming of the Shrew: "Any guy who hurts you is got to be a jerk" and from Ladies Who Lunch: "one minute we're slapping each other with meat and then it just got wierd"

One funny Joe moment was in Try to Remember the Night He Dismembered when under hypnotism he clucks like a chicken. He was so funny b/c one minute he is just going on as usual and the next he clucks like a chicken and he has that "what's everybody looking at" look. So funny and what about his date with the ventrilaquist and the dummy that made a pass at him.

Those are great Joe moments too. I also love the time when he thought the gang was going to surprise him on his birthday :lol:
