We haven't heard any news about dvd releases in quite a while. Last year, I think "Kate & Allie: Season 5" was the only thing they released. Their site hasn't been updated in a while either. They have released shows like "Riptide", "Cobra", "The Stockard Channing Show", "Hardcastle and McCormack" and "Gimme a Break". But nothing announced in almost a year. Did they go under?

I certainly hope that they didn't. There are a lot of fans of the series that you mentioned (as I am of "Hardcastle," which I have all of) and if VEI did go under, as I hope they didn't, there may be some yet unreleased series or parts of series.

I'm still waiting on GAB S3. I'm going to be really mad if they went under.

I'm waiting for more GAB too. I know they aren't a huge company but we haven't heard anything in a really long time. Sometimes they answer e-mails and they haven't replied to any recently. I have many of their releases and would love to see more released in the future. If anyone hears anything, please post it here. I'm also keeping my eye on tsod.com for any announcements. Thanks :)

I would like the Sixth and Final season of Kate and Allie.

Me too! It's been a while since Season 5 was released. VEI hasn't announced anything since last year. I wish we knew what was going on. They aren't answering e-mails and their site hasn't been updated since last year either.

Doesn't sound good at all.

I bought a couple of their Kate & Allie sets and also "Secret World of Og" which was a childhood favourite.

Being a Canadian company, I e-mailed them to see if they could do something with the Edison Twins but no reply.

i emailed them a few weeks ago myself, with no reply. Makes me think they are no longer in business. Though, why would their website still be up?

I'm thinking the same thing. I was hoping to finish up "Kate & Allie" with just one more season to go and I would have loved to have "Gimme a Break!" Season 3 with my favorite episode on it.

I called their phone # and asked if they have anything on Gimme A Break season 3 and they said no. Apparetnly they are still in business if they answered the phone.

Did they say if it was still coming or cancelled?

They said they had no information. Unofrtunately I was in a rush and couldn't get any more information. Actually come to think of it, I don't think it was even VEI I spoke with. I think it was Vivendi Visual Entertainment their distributor, so they probably don't have a whole lot of information. I haven't been able to find a direct number to VEI.

EDIT: Their phone # is listed on their website:
