I have seen many topics on Internet forums where people say the Fonz has comitted statatory rape on many occasions but just the other day i saw a triavia page that showed actors who were much older than their characters and the Fonz was stated as being 17 when the show started, Henry was 29.

So was the Fonz 17 or did the website just make a mistake and he was older? Their was the episode in season 1 where the Fonz enrolled back in school. Anyway he had many girls from high school girls to older women and did anyone notice when the Fonz has someone in his room that its usually an older woman and not a teenage?

Alot of people must've assumed he was 25+ but i always thought he was as young as Richie, Ralph and Potsie.

Also i dont think Richie could've been 17 when the show started as he graduated in season 4. About 3 years elapsed from the start of the show to season 4 so he would've been 20 when he graduated it he was 17 in the pilot. I think he was more like 15 when the show started.

I seem to remember Ritchie, Potsie, and Ralph being 16 in season one.

Richie was a sophmore in the first season - time moves at a different speed in the world of Happy Days.

The timeline on Happy Days never made any since to me. I was never sure it it was the 50's or 60's on Happy Days? I remember in one episode Howard was watching TV and Fonzie asked Mr.C what he was watching and Howard replyed Gillligans Island.

There have been a few shows where the teenagers was played by adult actors.
I know Ralph Machio was 24 when he did The Karate Kid. And Tom Welling on Smallville is the same age as me. And hes sopposed to be in his late teens on the show now?

Michael J. Fox was 24 when he played a teenager in Back to the Future.
I am guessing Fonzie was 19 when the show started and 29 when it ended.
