After Johnny Olsen's death anyone have a timeframe for the stand-in announcers before Rod took over? Anyone know anyone who has those shows?

The fill-in announcers lasted from November 1985 to February 1986.

Among the fill-ins were Goodson stalwart Gene Wood and Bob Hilton, who was offered the job but turned it down in favor of hosting a pilot that didn't sell.

I enjoyed all the episodes with Gene Wood, Bob Hilton, and also Rich Jefferies. Were they the only 3 fill in announcers?

I checked The Price is Right page on imdb.com and you are right. Those three were the only ones who filled in after Johnny Olson's passing. To me, if Bob Hilton didn't do the game show pilot, he would have been the perfect replacement for Olson, and would have still been on the air today.

but can you ever fathom the price is right without the one and only Rod Roddey and his colorful suits ?

I have Johnny's last show, Rod's first show as permanent announcer, one with Rich Jeffries and several with Gene Woods, though the Gene Woods ones are nighttime version with Tom Kennedy.

I have not seen those in years and had wondered if they were for sale anywhere, would like to see them again.
