View Full Version : Brian Damage I need you to talk to me and I need your honesty
TVFactFan 01-05-2009, 04:39 PM How do you see the Giants performing against the Eagles?
Be straight with me, will they lose and not be able to contain westbrook?
Will they stump a hole in the Eagles a$$ and go on to the NFC Championship.
Be honest please, i'm old enough to handle the truth
Mr. Television 01-05-2009, 07:09 PM Are you getting worried? LOL
I think the Giants will win. They are the defending SB champions and they're playing at home. The only thing is...it's a division rival and sometimes those games can be very tough.

YES, shaking in my Hush Puppies-lol
I think it has a lot to do with it already being a parade here in October, so I'm just frightened that it can be another one and this city would explode if the Eagles won it all. Even pople over 60 would be outside dancing-lol
bandito 01-05-2009, 07:29 PM I would be worried if I were you Sol. The Eagles are playing some good football right now. If the Eagles Blitz the hell out of Eli they can win this game.

They don't blitz the Giants as much when they have all 3 running backs. That would be dangerous
GARFIELDKOOL 01-05-2009, 07:49 PM I honestly see the Eagles pulling this one off in a close one. They weren't great against the Vikings, but they have momentum, while the G-men have been looking vulnerable the last couple of weeks.
Big C 01-05-2009, 07:59 PM The Giants are in the exact same position Dallas was in a year ago- #1 seed in the NFC, home-field advantage, and a big favorite to make the Super Bowl.
Now, the Giants ARE last year's Cowboys- playing a hungry NFC East opponent.
Brian Damage 01-05-2009, 09:33 PM I'll be honest with you Sol, it is going to be tough. If only for the fact that they are division rivals and know each other's strengths and weaknesses. It is going to be a real close game in my opinion. I will say this though, it is amazing the lack of respect the Giants have gotten all year, despite the great record and despite winning the SB last year.

As long as there are no INT's the Giants should be in the NFCC.
Eagles normally win when a qb throws a INT
vikings
cowboys
browns
cardinals
Mr. Television 01-05-2009, 09:58 PM I'm sure Andy Reid wil do something dumb though. He always does. lol

cardinalsWhatever happens, it's going to be a hell of a game. Both teams are tough as ****, like Brian said they are Division rivals they know each other well.
Wreckless 01-05-2009, 11:46 PM I'm sure Andy Reid wil do something dumb though. He always does. lol
Yeah. He's only been to 4 NFC Championships
LOL LOL
how many has Romo been to? None, and your team is out of it, so don't even talk.
Wreckless 01-05-2009, 11:47 PM Oh and nobody even mentioned that the Eagles are the version of last year's Giants, and what did they end up doing? Wild Card team. Came into the playoffs on a hot streak with their QB playing much better, Eli Manning last year/Donovan the last 4 games this year, including the playoff game so far.

eagles have a 2 game winning streak and a 1 game winning streak on the road
Wreckless 01-06-2009, 12:04 AM They are still probably the hottest team going into the playoffs/ (already) in the playoffs...

What about the Chargers?
Wreckless 01-06-2009, 01:06 AM The Chargers are hot as well, but they had Denver lose their last 3 games. They were 4-8 at one time, and 8-8 overall so in my mind they shouldn't be in with a dismal record like that.
mriggles 01-06-2009, 11:01 AM Solomon, it is going to be a knock down, drag out brawl between 2 bitter rivals... The game will be won in the trenches. The eagles are not intimidated by the giants or giants stadium..It is going to come down to who executes better on sunday, who does not turn the ball over. I will say this, I am very nervous about this game, I really am. It can go either way. The closer to game time it gets, the more pumped up I am getting!!!!

The giants with the exception of 1 game have never contained westbrook, he is kryptonite to the giants... Although westy is important this week, I think we win or lose this one based on how 5 does!!!!
