It was on a scene on the "gag reel" on the end of season 4. Seems like all of the gag reels they showed were from the shows on season 4, but when it showed this blooper/gag reel, I do not remember seeing it on any of the episodes and hoping a diehard fan will know which one this is.

It shows Jennifer at school setting at a table with some classmates. She is dressed up and everyone she is with is dressed up in that 80s "extreme" look. Teased hair, etc. They all have blonde hair and weating blue/black dresses. She is wearing a blue dress with a large silver center piece. She tells some guy she is talking to how well she takes care of herself. It may be from a later season, because she does look a little older. If it is, thats the only one they showed from a different season, other than season 4.

I checked. The episode is called It's My Party. It is a season 4 episode, however, because it didn't originally air during the fourth season (1985-1986) it isn't included in the season 4 dvd set. It aired in a later season. Some seasons of Family Ties produced more than 24 epsiodes and as a result they were required to hold the episodes until a later time when the episode(s) could air. It's on the fifth season dvd set.
