When u were a kid did u ever make prank phonecalls? Or now as an adult have u ever got one?

I never made prank/obscene calls. I have gotten a few. They're gross and so childish.

On Saturday nights, we would sometimes get a couple of obscene calls. Later, we found out that our phone number is almost exactly (except for one digit) the same as Hooters!! :eek: :lol: That Hooters has since closed down, so we haven't gotten any more of those calls. I'm not sure if there's a connection, but who knows? :crazy:

Oh yes, as a kid; I did some. I would just call any number; then on the other end, they would answer but, I wouldn't say a word; then I would hang up.
I did that from time to time; and one time the police came to my house, and asked my mother if I was doing that; and I said (No) but of course I was lying but, they believed me; so I got away with it. After that, I stopped doing it.

Yeah I have gotten a few obscene phone calls. I just tell the guy "You need help!" then hang up. :lol:

Did a couple on a dare, but got bored with it pretty quick. I have never gotten an obscene call though.

not to residential homes but to stores, we'd ask for silly products or ask inane questions about existing products.

i prank called my friend with a Judge Judy soundboard the other day lol...

and a few months ago my friend's 10-year-old sister prank called me cursing at me :confused: that was a very odd experience. :)

yeah i would make them by using the phones located in the school offices
when ever teachers stepped out.Or use the one in the teacher's lounge
after i stole a soda and a couple of cinnamon rolls out of the snack box.
Now as an adult,Don't have too worry about much ever since Caller ID
came into town.Mainly the ones who prank call are family and they
only do it for fun. But,that's very seldom.

I forgot that me and a few friends of mine would call different pizza places and order a pizza and send them to other people we knew. We only did that a few times though.

yeah, when i was about five years old and my friend of the same age had her own phone for some reason. we would dial random numbers in the phone book, say something obscene, and hang up.

for a while i've wanted to use a peter griffin soundboard. i wouldn't do it to anyone innocent though, and it seems like everyone i dislike watches family guy, so i'm not sure if i'll be able to. :grr:

No to both questions. However, one night when I was in the ninth grade I got a phone call from some girl who wanted to know why I wasn't at her house (shagging) her. She used the f-word, and I never did find out who she was. :confused:

When yahoo was a lot better and more roolms they had a thing just for making prank phone calls to real people, and I FORGOT what it was? Then on tv they had prank calls with kind of like the muppets but,it was on comedy central.

I used to call fast food restaurants all the time and hoped that it would
be a female employee. If it was, I used to ask that female employee what
type of uniform employees at that restaurant would wear.

I made some pretty stupid calls when I was younger but not really PRANK calls..... We called someone 1 day and my friend talked and he said "Hi this is chuck jones calling you live from the WBLZ 98.7 hotline..... Mam you have the chance to win over 300,000 in cash if you can only say to us the money pix phrase of the week,can you say it right now??"

She hung up!!! -- If that was REAL she would have blown her chances!!

Never made any when I was a kid, was too afraid my dad would find out and have the phone taken out. lol! I've gotten a few over the years though but none lately.

When I was around 14 or 15 there were two consecutive New Years where I dialed a random number right after midnight and yelled "Happy New Year" and then I hung up.

I've been on the receiving end of a few prank phone calls. The last one that I got was about 13 years ago. It was a little boy telling me that my "behavior was unacceptable" and that I was fired from my job at Arby's (I never worked at Arby's).

My pants aren't custom made but I wear them a little snug/tight which creates a big bulge for the ladies to see. :cool:

I don't have a mobile phone, land line only, and my number is programmed to accept calls only from specific phone numbers/people that I know. All other calls are blocked, so I receive no calls from telemarketers, scammers, obscene callers or pranksters.

Not obscene, but we made a few prank calls. But like with most things technology has screwed that up too, you can't do that nowdays, if ppl don't recognize the number on their Smart phone they simply won't answer it :rolleyes:


My most famous prank call was, calling a furniture store and complaining the mirror I recently bought was faulty. B/c there was like a 2 second delay between my movements and the movements of my reflection, and I was asking if they could tune it somehow. They were like, "Uhhh, I dunno about that..." I told them this happened once before only the other time my reflection was about 2 seconds ahead of me.
