I know how to quash this once and for all, it is called the ignore button. Solomon, Sonny, bandito, Mike and a couple others are cool with me, the rest have been put on ignore.

If this is seriously going to happen, then I believe you're peace treaty Solomon and I accept. I never thought I would say this but- I will accept being on a good note with you and others and I think this can work. The only reason I didn't like your posts was because of the Philly sports thing but I will try hard to be a nicer person on here. Happy New Year to you.

I agree Solomon. I think we can work it out and I'm cool with being friends and cool with anybody on here, and that includes you. I think all it took was effort on both sides, and I respect you for making this thread, it wasn't easy to do. Btw, just cause I'm interested, I would like to know where the hate for Philly came from? I don't care now, cause everybody that's a sports fan hates other teams or franchises, but how did it originate in the first place, hating all 4 teams?

My Step Dad was a Eagles Fan and during the 88 season when I decided to go against him for fun and picked Dallas who was winning 23-0 at the Vet in October of 88, the Eagles came back and won 24-23 and I hated the Team every since. Man he teased me all night and I was pissed

Btw, were you a fan of the Sixers, because you liked Iverson, and he was their at the time or you just liked the team in general? I ask that because I had a friend, who didn't live in Philly, but in california and followed Iverson's career and was a big fan, so he was a 76ers fan at one point, until he got traded to Denver. Their are some fans like that; I didn't know if you were one of them or not.

Not really a Mets fan, they were just the team the last 2 seasons who was challenging the phils for the division and I was rooting for them. But I won't have to be concerned about the Phillies anyway because once you win a championship there is no longer a need to track what they are doing. So the only way I will find out about the Phillies is if someone tells me but that won't happen because no one at my job watches baseball.

So 2009 will be the first summer I won't turn to ESPN until late August. During the month of July I have no reason to watch SportsCenter or PTI

I've got the same situation.

Sol's on my ignore list, but I never put him on there.

However, I can still read his posts by clicking "View Post," so all isn't lost. I can still keep up with what he says.

I will tell you what, fella. How about you publicly apologize to me personally for cursing me out the other day? Once you do that, everything will be squashed. I will say this Solomon......you are too old to be acting the way you do on here. You don't have to attack anyone. I didn't rag on your team losing, that's not my style. I can accept defeat. And as far as me not showing up when the Skins lost in season 1, I was on hiatus from here around that time anyway, so I wouldn't have shown up in a victory.

Hey we all have one thing in common and that's we love sports. I think it would be great if everyone could get along. I don't hold any grudges against anybody and it's fun talking to people who are fans of different teams.
