View Full Version : Being single sucks!
MrCleveland 01-01-2009, 01:47 PM My brother is bringing his girlfriend, my sister is bringing her fiance, and then there's my parents.
All I have is an invisible girl. Looks like I'll never get married on 11-11-11.
I might as well eat by myself in the kitchen today. I also hate being the odd-man-out in my family. :(

I'm single as well, sucks. But your brother is a girl?
MrCleveland 01-01-2009, 02:11 PM I'm single as well, sucks. But your brother is a girl?
I changed it.
Wreckless 01-01-2009, 02:15 PM I know, I was just kidding. That sucks about being single out though. I always feel like I'm the odd person odd with friends, but just remember, their is a girl or guy out their for everybody.
Scoobiedoo30 01-01-2009, 05:00 PM I know I am single myself and I am not be single.
Waterston_Fan 01-01-2009, 05:25 PM Don't worry. I'm single too.
dakert 01-01-2009, 10:48 PM You will find someone when the time is right. MrCleveland How old are you?
Mikado 01-01-2009, 10:50 PM I'm single too, and yeah, it sucks!!! (Well, I have an online thing but, its not quite the same)
Brent88 01-01-2009, 10:56 PM I actually don't mind being single, it's the having no life that sucks. I'm hoping to change it this year.
*Pleasant Tomorrow* 01-01-2009, 11:16 PM No kidding. I've been single my whole life. **** it.
catlover79 01-01-2009, 11:21 PM I don't mind being single either. I'm not sad about it. If it happens, it happens, if it doesn't, it doesn't. That's how I look at it, anyway. :D
LuLu Rogers 01-02-2009, 12:34 AM I've been single pretty much my whole life. Sure, I long for companionship, but I'm starting to realize and maybe even accept the fact that I'm single and will probably stay that way unless something changes.
DVDFreaker 01-02-2009, 01:16 AM I'm single too and my twin brother has a new girlfriend *shakes head*
treky 01-02-2009, 04:28 AM I'm single; and have been my entire life (I'm 51) and I don't mind. Like Lauren says; sure I'd like to have a relationship with someone, but I'm starting to accept the fact that it may not happen. But, you never know, I know this couple and she's 69, he's 71; they just got married 2 years ago; and they're both as exicted and happy still; you'd think they were in their 20s.
So if it happens it happens, and if it doesn't it doesn't.
Krisalicious 01-02-2009, 04:57 AM I'm only getting used to being single again. A few months ago I just ended a year and a half long relationship and prior to that I was in an almost two year relationship. They were one right after the other, only three weeks separated them haha. And right now I do mostly think being single sucks, but hey I'm learning how it works again. It has its moments.
comedyfreak 01-02-2009, 11:11 AM I'm also single and 46, so you're not alone here. I don't mind being single the only thing that gets on my nerves is feeling like the 3rd wheel when I'm with married friends when we go out and do something. I recently met someone but, I'm not sure if I want to pursue a relationship or just be friends and see if anything developes. I'm set in my ways, LOL.
waichingliu81 01-02-2009, 02:43 PM i'm 27- slowly turning 28 next month- and still single, but i am not fussed about it. it's not like i am looking for a long term relationship with a guy- for now. i just want to enjoy doing the things i do on my own. but of course i could always have the odd crush here and then, though it's not serious.
MickeyMac 01-02-2009, 03:00 PM Im 34 and have been single for over three years now.
There are things about being single I like and I dont like.
I like having a place to myself at times where I can listen to music as loud as I want(and the kind of music I want). I can watch whatever I want on television. I can drink milk right out of the carton(hey I'm a guy LOL). Sometimes I like to sleep alone.
I do miss the companionship of being with someone even if its just hanging around the house. Most of my friends are either in relationships or are married and sometimes I feel like the odd man out. I miss having someone that cares and loves you.
Also I have to admit sometimes I dont feel like I am the safest best because its a good possibility I may not have a job soon.
Whatever happens in the relationship department with me will happen. I say let the chips fall where they may.
