Has anybody noticed that in some episodes when the characters are talking in the living room, and one of them enters, or exits, the kitchen, while the door swings open very briefly...there is no table (or any other props for that matter) in the kitchen?

I wonder why that is?

Cheers!

Sincerely, Steve B. :)

I've noticed this as well. My best guess would be that they were not using the kitchen in a scene.

Yeah, they did it when the kitchen wasn't being used in a scene for that episode.

I figured the living room set and the kitchen set were both permanent ones that faced the audience at all times during the tapings of the show...but maybe not.

I think what "Pleasant Tomorrow" said makes the most sense. They probably removed most of the props from the kitchen area when the episode did not involve too many kitchen scenes, but re-installed them when more action took place there (Jack cooking, the trio eating breakfast, etc.).
