It is a shame that he left only after three years, but I do agree with him, they should't have always made him play second to Hawkeye. He deserved to actually have his own character.

I agree...but no one can argue that Wayne made the right choice leaving when he did. He went into more business endeavors and wound up very, VERY rich. Not everyone who has left a hit show can say that!!

One of my biggest regrets about Trapper is he never got the proper send off he deserved for bringing so much to the character. While it was previously posted he made himself very rich, he also enriched our lives for 3 wonderful seasons !

For some reason, Scott MacIntyre on American Idol makes me think of Trapper.

He is an amazing singer. I hope he goes far in this competition. Can you picture Trapper being on AI? :lol:

Yeah, I recall him singing at some point on the show. He was definitely better than Hawkeye in that department.

I just have to say it, between Hawkeye and Trapper, I would rather go on date with Trapper. They always went on about how good looking Hawkeye was, but I gotta agree with hotlips, who wouldn't fall for that curly hair and crooked smile?
