i think that it was just an unfortunate choice of username by a new user - going by the IP addresses THIS "the collector" is in Quebec, whereas Chris Persia is somewhere near Virginia (someone that has sent him anything could probably be more specific).

Sorry, I hope you're right, but in other threads I'd read that Chris Persia/The Collector traded from Canada (packages were sent from Canada). Here's an example thread:

...and you may want to change your location from "Canada" to something a little more specific just to reinforce the fact that you are NOT Chris Persia.

You may have already tried/done this, but why not start a topic listing the 100 DVD's you copied, and maybe you can salvage some of them with other trades? You may have already done that or thrown them away, but if not it would be a good way to get rid of at least some of them and get something in return.

Just for ****s and giggles here is Persia's list that he sent me that he said that he had.

Quite a list if he had ever successfully traded with anyone I do not know.
