This is a good episode and thought Howard was really funny.

Why did Howard have to give Fonzie a week to try out the apartment?

Did Howard somehow really want Fonzie to stay at the apartment? How can you be family after one week?

Thought he didn't like the Fonz.

I think Howard just wanted to give him a try. I remember what episode you're talking about, but not specifically because I haven't seen it recently or don't remember distinct details from the episode.

Howard didn't really want to give Fonzie a Chance. He didn't want him in the House at all. And he thought, when he's doing this "Week Tryout" he can kick him out more easily ... just saying, that it didn't worked.

Funny thing I thought the apartment over the garage looked just like The Apartment Fonzie was living in the season 2 Christmas episode.The episode where Fonzie moves in is one of those episodes that I have scene a hundred times threw out the years. Another episode I have scene lots of times is the one where Richie,Ralph,Potsie,and Fonzie go for there physical for the army draft. Heck pretty mutch all the episodes I have watched so many times over the years. Happy Days is one of my favorite TV shows.
