Nooooooo!! :o

Maybe Brian Schottenheimer can take over.

I don't think this is Eric's fault though. They got Farve.

After 3 years- he didn't do THAT bad. So I am surprised, but it is New York so yeah. He was 10-6 the first year, 4-12 the second, and 9-7 this past year, not making the playoffs 2 out of the 3 years he was coach. So he was 23-25 in the 3 years as the Jets coach.

I'm surprised that Romeo Crennel wasn't the first coach this season to get canned...our GM did, though.

I'm waiting for Cookie Monster to get fired.

AKA Wade Phillips.

Andy Reid would of been fired, if he had been coaching like he did in the games vs. the Ravens, Bengals etc. this season.

Mangini had two winning seasons and did better than last year and is gone, yet Jim Haslett and Herman Edwards, whose teams had 10 and 7 game losing streaks, did NOT get fired?

I like Herm Edwards, but even I agree with what you said.

Romeo Crennel did get fired this morning, along with Detroit Lions coach Rod Marinelli.

Yeah lol. Oh yeah I knew it was coming. It's just funny. Sucks to be him but they should of fired him earlier. If your're 0-8, 0-9, 0-12, isn't that a clue? LOL

Guess not according to the Lions.

Wonder what Ford thinks of his Lions now.

Well, I keep hearing he and Favre, butted heads and got into a huge personality conflict.

Yeah that's news to me as well. Why is always like that? It's always the coach that's gotta go..

Chargers have had that... in '97 it was either Bobby Beathard or Bobby Ross. Stupid owner picked Beathard and fired Ross.

It happened again two years ago..

Spanos had to choose between A.J. or Marty. And it's Marty who had to go and the players loved Marty.

Wow, I didn't think the hammer would fall so quick on Mangini.

Can't say I blame the Jets bosses. Someone has to take the fall for the teams horrible palying in December.

I wonder if this will convince Farve to stick around one more season?
