View Full Version : Eagles KICK Dallas' A$$ 44-6 LOL...Eagles make playoffs- Dallas is out of the playoff
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 04:46 PM YEAH, an awesome and unbelievable day in football.
Lions lose, 0-16!!!!!!!
Tampa Bay loses, OUT of the playoffs, with an unbelievable and shocking loss to the Oakland Raiders.
Bears or Minnesota had to lose, for Eagles to have a shot now to get in the playoffs.
Bears lost 31-24 to the 8-8 Texans today.
Minnesota beat the Giants, to win their division, so Bears are OUT of the playoffs. No division or wild card spot for Chicago.
Dallas vs. Philadelphia- 4:15 pm. @ the Linc
Mike, Enjoy the game!!!!
Whoever wins, gets in the playoffs. Dallas wins- 6th seed in the playoffs
Eagles win- 6th seed in the playoffs
Atlanta currently has the first wild card spot, and the 5th playoff spot in the playoffs, if it started today.
Let's go! Go Eagles.
Game thread.
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 04:47 PM YEAH BABY. INTERCEPTION RAIDERS. I like Garcia but I'm not rooting for him today. Raiders have the ball. Let's get this.
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 05:13 PM yeah- Bears & Tampa Bay lost! Eagles win and we're in.
Eagles vs. Dallas thread- whoever wins, is in the playoffs. Nothing else. Everything else in the NFC playoff serenarios have been determined, except for this game.
Big C 12-28-2008, 05:18 PM Just curious, but does anyone who the Eagles OR Cowboys would play depending upon the winner of this game?
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 05:25 PM Minnesota and the Cardinals are the 3rd and 4th spots, I think Minnesota is the 3rd...The Giants are the 1st seed, Carolina, the second, so I'm pretty sure, from their it's MINN, Arizona, ATL, then DAL/PHI winner...
I think the Eagles/Cowboys would play Minnesota, and ATL would play the Cardinals. If the Eagles win and stay healthy, assuming they make the playoffs with this win, I would love to play either team. I don't mind playing Minnesota or Arizona.
Frankly, I'd love to beat Minnesota, just to shut up Brad Childress, former Eagles coach, who criticized our fans this year.
But I'm just gona watch this game and see who wins. Not gonna jinx us.
Mr. Television 12-28-2008, 05:33 PM Stupid special teams.
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 05:35 PM Dallas CB injured on the last Eagles drive....Hmmm
Mr. Television 12-28-2008, 05:57 PM What else is new?
Big C 12-28-2008, 06:24 PM Whoever wins this game will NOT have it easy next week- Vikings are a tough team that's gelling together at the right time.
bandito 12-28-2008, 06:47 PM I"m switching to the Jets - Fins game.. this one is turning into a rout.
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 06:47 PM 27-3 HAHAHAHAHAHA
Hi Dallas, You SUCK LOL
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 06:48 PM Pacman Jones, a penalty and a fumble...I love it
Karma for dallas
Big C 12-28-2008, 06:49 PM Is it too early for Wrecky to start gameplanning on how to stop NFL rushing champ Adrian Peterson?
That's who Philly would play next week.
Big C 12-28-2008, 06:49 PM Honestly, I'd rather Seattle/Arizona right now- tied at the half, a game i have dubbed "The Ramona Bowl.'
Mr. Television 12-28-2008, 06:51 PM Congrats Kyle. The Eagles deserve to win this game. They're playing with heart. This is the most overrated Cowboy team of all time. They are a disgrace to the star. The only one out there I have sympathy with is Witten. The rest is just going through the motions as usual. If you can't get up for a big game with one of your most hated rivals then you should just go home. If the Cowboys lose, I hope it's a route. They deserve it.
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 06:51 PM We can take Peterson...I'm worried about FINISHING and giving the knockout punch and blow to Dallas tonight...then I'll worry about the playoffs and who we play, if we get in...I'll take Minnesota and the Cardinals....we're beating, what was supposed to be, the best team in the NFL this season right now, by 24 points, more then 3 TDs, and it's only half time...so, i'm not worried about any team right now.
Big C 12-28-2008, 06:54 PM The Eagles deserve to win this game. They're playing with heart.
Please.
If anything, they owe the Raiders a thank you.
IMO, they will not beat the Vikings.
I'm sorry, but I think they are a flawed team.
Oh, and Sonny- even IF Dallas was playing better, I think the Vikings may have beaten them.

Football is a game of luck sometimes. The cards fell right for the Eagles and they are taking advantage of it. What are you, on the Vikings bandwagon now? They don't impress me.
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 06:58 PM Chris, you need to stop having more then one favorite team. Now you like Minnesota. Personally, I am not even remotely worried about Minnesota. A great team but they are inexperienced, unlike the Eagles who are experienced, this time of the year around the playoffs and they have no QB whatsoever. I don't care if Jackson played well for 2 games of his career- which were against 2 bad teams anyway, he is not a star. But I'm worried about the Cowgirls game now. Then I will focus on what's ahead. Don't take the Eagles lightly vs. a Minnesota team.
Big C 12-28-2008, 07:00 PM What are you, on the Vikings bandwagon now?
Well, since Arizona is not heading into the playoffs impressively, I feel that they might be a team that COULD make noise.
Besides, Bills are out of the playoffs again. I can't just ignore the playoffs and not cheer for anyone since Buffalo's not in.
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 07:01 PM What are you, on the Vikings bandwagon now? They don't impress me.
I think he is, Sonny- lol.
Chris, I don't understand you and the NFL. You liked the Cardinals as well, now I think you are turning on them, for Minnesota, since they are slipping, especially with that 47-7 whooping from the Pats 2 weeks ago. I just don't understand. I don't think any of us here do. Even if your team didn't make the playoffs that year, I understand you root for teams instead. But I think you actually like and are a fan of these teams permanently, instead of just being a fan of a certain team for just a playoff year. It's like, Mike and I love the Eagles, Bandito loves the Steelers, I can see Waterston Fan is a San Diego fan and Sonny with Dallas. Those are clear cut.
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 07:03 PM Well, since Arizona is not heading into the playoffs impressively, I feel that they might be a team that COULD make noise.
Besides, Bills are out of the playoffs again. I can't just ignore the playoffs and not cheer for anyone since Buffalo's not in.
You can just keep switching team to team. You almost worst then Solomon and that's pretty bad, no offense bro. He likes all the teams that win, which isn't right, but you seem to root for every team. I'm just trying to get down to the bottom of this.
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 07:07 PM FUMBLE BY ROMO, RECOVERY EAGLES
TOUCHDOWN DAWKINS
34-3 EAGLES
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA
THIS IS HILARIOUS
I'M FEELIN GOOD
WHAT'S UP DALLAS? BYE BYE PLAYOFFS FOR YOU.
Mr. Television 12-28-2008, 07:13 PM Well, since Arizona is not heading into the playoffs impressively, I feel that they might be a team that COULD make noise.
Besides, Bills are out of the playoffs again. I can't just ignore the playoffs and not cheer for anyone since Buffalo's not in.
I'll be rooting for some teams in the playoffs but I'm not going to act like they're my team. If they win the SB it will not make me feel better about what the Cowboys have done. I'm notorious for rooting for the losing teams in SBs. I think I've only rooted for 5 winners in the last 25 years. lol
bandito 12-28-2008, 07:15 PM I'll be rooting for some teams in the playoffs but I'm not going to act like they're my team. If they win the SB it will not make me feel better about what the Cowboys have done. I'm notorious for rooting for the losing teams in SBs. I think I've only rooted for 5 winners in the last 25 years. lolThank God You hate the Steelers!
Big C 12-28-2008, 07:16 PM OK, NOW it's over.
40-3.
I'm switching to Dolphins/Jets and the 'Ramona Bowl' in the desert.
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 07:17 PM 41-3 HAHAHAHAH
Dallas is a joke
BALLINNNNNN
Waterston_Fan 12-28-2008, 07:20 PM I"m switching to the Jets - Fins game.. this one is turning into a rout.
I wonder when FOX decides to switch to another game. THis one is boring but the Jets-Fins is more interesting.
Mr. Television 12-28-2008, 07:20 PM Thank God You hate the Steelers!
 Yea that was one SB I lost.
Big C 12-28-2008, 07:22 PM I wonder when FOX decides to switch to another game.
Hopefully, they'll switch to Garfield's Skins/49ers game OR the Ramona Bowl in the NFC West.
bandito 12-28-2008, 07:22 PM I wonder when FOX decides to switch to another game. THis one is boring but the Jets-Fins is more interesting.Fox needs to switch the game.
Waterston_Fan 12-28-2008, 07:23 PM If I'm Reid, I'd put Kolb in now.
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 07:26 PM Good idea WF but I want this to be a 60-3 game lol. Dallas is giving it away like a virgin. 44-3 now. with 18 minutes left, heck, we can score 60 easily. I don't care about being classy. Dallas is a classlass, thuggish organization right now. Plus, they're our rivals. That's why I'm especially loving this blowout. Dallas is so good, they're underachieving. Making every mistake is costing them (tonight) and letting the Eagles take over.
GARFIELDKOOL 12-28-2008, 07:28 PM Wow! I am shocked! I must say I thought this would be a close game. I didn't think this would be a rout!
Big C 12-28-2008, 07:28 PM Wreckless, for all the bashing of the Arizona Cardinals on this site, they STILL show more heart than other teams.
When Philly bitch-slapped Zona on Turkey Day, at least the Cardinals TRIED to make it close. Cardinals got it to a two-score game at least.
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 07:29 PM Eagles are killing Dallas 44-3...Forget about Arizona for right now
this is too good to be true
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 07:30 PM Wow! I am shocked! I must say I thought this would be a close game. I didn't think this would be a rout!
Whats up man? I think you beating us last week actually helped us, in the sense that we recovered and we're set now lol. So thanks!
Btw, where's Solomon?
GARFIELDKOOL 12-28-2008, 07:30 PM Fox needs to switch the game.
yeah, because at least the Skins-49ers game is close. LOL
bandito 12-28-2008, 07:31 PM Wow! I am shocked! I must say I thought this would be a close game. I didn't think this would be a rout!Dallas just proved they are not playoff team.
GARFIELDKOOL 12-28-2008, 07:31 PM Whats up man? I think you beating us last week actually helped us, in the sense that we recovered and we're set now lol. So thanks!
Btw, where's Solomon?
I just signed in. Haven't seen him. Not like I've been looking.
GARFIELDKOOL 12-28-2008, 07:32 PM Dallas just proved they are not playoff team.
Yeah, so have my team.
GARFIELDKOOL 12-28-2008, 07:33 PM Whats up man? I think you beating us last week actually helped us, in the sense that we recovered and we're set now lol. So thanks!
Btw, where's Solomon?
Yeah, but our offense was horrible last week.
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 07:35 PM HELL NO. Do not switch the game.. This is too good and awesome to be true. I'm not watching some lousy 49ers instead lol
Eagles routing the Cowgirls- they're KEEPING this game on lol..
Big C 12-28-2008, 07:36 PM Well, Garfield, I know the season has not concluded nicely, but I'm holding out hope for a bright future.
Campbell's maturing, Portis is a beast, and the recievers are looking solid.
All they need is a pass-rushing beast or protection on the offensive line, and I see a playoff team next year in the Nation's Capital.
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 07:36 PM Yeah, but our offense was horrible last week.
So was ours; at least as far as dropped passes go.
bandito 12-28-2008, 07:36 PM Yeah, so have my team.I thought the Skins were a better team than Dallas all season.
eltonfan80 12-28-2008, 07:36 PM they should fire the entire team and wade phillps for the awful game
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 07:38 PM Eagles are putting up 44 points and y'all wanna switch it lol.
Not that close games are worst, but a blowout eventual win vs. a GREAT, superbowl bound team without the distractions is unbelievable and great..Everybody loves their team winning big, style points are cool but not necessary.
Mr. Television 12-28-2008, 07:42 PM they should fire the entire team and wade phillps for the awful game
I totally agree. I thought they were a disgrace last week but today it's even worst. No heart against a hated rival with a playoff spot on the line. This team is too soft. Coach Cupcake can take a flying leap.
GARFIELDKOOL 12-28-2008, 07:44 PM Well, Garfield, I know the season has not concluded nicely, but I'm holding out hope for a bright future.
Campbell's maturing, Portis is a beast, and the recievers are looking solid.
All they need is a pass-rushing beast or protection on the offensive line, and I see a playoff team next year in the Nation's Capital.
Yeah, those are our biggest needs. We also need the other receivers to step up and take pressure off Moss.
Sorry about the Bills. Trent Edwards seem to have lost his confidence, and I am sure Losman will be gone. They need to utilize Lee Evans and Marshawn Lynch more.
GARFIELDKOOL 12-28-2008, 07:45 PM I thought the Skins were a better team than Dallas all season.
I give them the edge offensively, while we hold the edge defensively. When we went to Dallas and beat them, I thought we were better, but when they beat us in Washington, that didn't matter.
Big C 12-28-2008, 07:47 PM Trent Edwards seem to have lost his confidence, and I am sure Losman will be gone.
Losman needs to go.
I have dubbed these two QB's as "Dumb and Dumber."
If one goes, the other will hopefully improve.
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 07:48 PM Skins definitely have more heart, and won't roll over and die, like how they beat us in a low score game, last week..Dallas is losing 44-3, with the playoffs on the line, jobs possibly on the line although JJ said Wade's job is not in jeopardy and he will be back next season, and they are getting their a$$es whooped, by a division rival too at their home.. a shame to be a dallas fan LOL
Mr. Television 12-28-2008, 07:52 PM MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION, PLEASE..!!!
Will the mother who left her 11 kids running around in Linc Field please pick them up..
They're humilliating the Dallas Cowboys and we can't have that.
Thank you !
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 07:55 PM Sonny, your team was down 41 points, in a critical playoff spot game, and they're kickin FGs, instead of going for 4th downs, to at least try to save some of their season lol. they would of lost anyway, but FGs, down 41? LOL
Mr. Television 12-28-2008, 07:58 PM Sonny, your team was down 41 points, in a critical playoff spot game, and they're kickin FGs, instead of going for 4th downs, to at least try to save some of their season lol. they would of lost anyway, but FGs, down 41? LOL
Our coach is a buffoon. lol

Wreckless 12-28-2008, 08:01 PM Our coach is a buffoon. lol
I can't believe he used to work for the Eagles in the '80s.
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 08:03 PM Brooks Bollinger is in for Dallas LOL
Hilarious
Sonny, is this a joke? lol
Big C 12-28-2008, 08:04 PM I can't believe he used to work for the Eagles in the '80s.
As of today, he is the last coach that took the Bills to the playoffs.
HAS IT BEEN THAT LONG?!
Mr. Television 12-28-2008, 08:04 PM I can't believe he used to work for the Eagles in the '80s.
I never cared for him. I wanted him over Norv Turner but that wasn't saying much. He was a loser in Denver and Buffalo...I don't know why Jerry though this would be any different.
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 08:05 PM Sonny, or what about, Marty Shottenheimer? lol
GAME OVER
sack by the Eagles
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 08:05 PM And Chris, Wade is a terrible coach. Yes, he is the last Buffalo coach to take them to the playoffs it looks like, but he's dismal.
Mr. Television 12-28-2008, 08:07 PM Sonny, or what about, Marty Shottenheimer? lol
GAME OVER
sack by the Eagles
I'd take Marty in a heartbeat.
bandito 12-28-2008, 08:08 PM There are alot of good coaches out there, problem is, who wants to work for a nebs*it owner and TO.
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 08:11 PM 44-6 Eagles, FINAL..
Eagles, MAKE THE PLAYOFFS!
Dallas is OUT lol- go home...
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 08:13 PM I'd take Marty in a heartbeat.
Yeah no doubt. He probably would take a job with Dallas but who knows.
Can you believe, San Diego was 14-2, when they FIRED him? Just because the dumb owner had personal problems with him or w/e and he said Marty never won in the playoffs. Ok that's fine, but after a 14-2 season? lol. Even if you didn't win the superbowl, they were a clear cut superbowl contender, Waterston Fan knows what I mean, and they fired him. They had a big winning steak that season going into the playoffs as well.
Mr. Television 12-28-2008, 08:17 PM Yeah no doubt. He probably would take a job with Dallas but who knows.

I always liked him and not all of those plauoff losses were his fault. I couldn't believe they replaced Marty with Norv Turner. It only took him 2 seasons to take the Chargers down although after tonight....as hard as it is to believe..the Chargers might make the playoffs. lol
Big C 12-28-2008, 08:27 PM Might as well get in the other late scores in this thread:
Ravens, Dolphins make the playoffs- Miami wins the AFC East. Remarkable.
Arizona beats Seattle- I'm sure a certain somebody won't like that
49ers beat the Redskins- Sorry, Garfield. Still, I like what I see from this Niners team. They could be a playoff threat next year!
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 08:28 PM I always liked him and not all of those plauoff losses were his fault. I couldn't believe they replaced Marty with Norv Turner. It only took him 2 seasons to take the Chargers down although after tonight....as hard as it is to believe..the Chargers might make the playoffs. lol
Yeah...Norv Turner is basically an offensive coach, not a head coach type guy lol.
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 08:30 PM GK or Chris, what was the final score on the 49ers-Skins game? Just curious.
I was immensly caught up in the Cowgirls-Eagles game, and then the Eagles blowout win, that I didn't focus on any other games at the moment lol. Although, they played the Seattle-Arizona game, after the DAL-PHI game and after the Eagles won the game, and closed it out with a playoff spot and a chance to advance a week from now...
Big C 12-28-2008, 08:35 PM Well, it's been one hell of an NFL season, and it all comes down to the AFC West showdown.
It's been a wild and wacky season- some of us had teams start out strong (My Bills, Sonny's Cowboys), others had bad luck (Ramona's injury-riddled Seahawks), and others started badly (Waterston's Chargers).
Big C 12-28-2008, 08:36 PM GK or Chris, what was the final score on the 49ers-Skins game? Just curious.
49ers/Redskins game was 27-24.
GARFIELDKOOL 12-28-2008, 08:38 PM I can't believe we lost like that. This time our offense showed up, it was the defense that collasped! Jason Campbell ran in for a TD to bring us back, and the d couldn't make a stop.
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 08:40 PM Thanks for the score. Redskins were what this season; 8-8?
GARFIELDKOOL 12-28-2008, 08:41 PM Thanks for the score. Redskins were what this season; 8-8?
Yup. cellar dwellars, just like the media predicted and hoped. I want to believe we were better than our record.
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 08:43 PM I think they are better then they're record. Hey, we were in the cellar last season lol. At least Dallas got its a$$ kicked, GK, so be happy about that I guess, even though Washington still lost to San Fran.
Big C 12-28-2008, 08:48 PM San Fran's a decent team- they play tough, hard, and have a lot of toughness and emotion.
Wreckless, remember that it took a great fourth-quarter to put the Niners away a few months ago.
49ers, IMO, are a team that can make the playoffs next year.
Waterston_Fan 12-28-2008, 08:55 PM I'd take Marty in a heartbeat.
No you wouldn't.
Waterston_Fan 12-28-2008, 08:57 PM I always liked him and not all of those plauoff losses were his fault. I couldn't believe they replaced Marty with Norv Turner. It only took him 2 seasons to take the Chargers down although after tonight....as hard as it is to believe..the Chargers might make the playoffs. lol
Yeah, I always liked Marty. He always had the team ready to play.
If he coaches a team to the playoffs, he should just stay home.
Waterston_Fan 12-28-2008, 08:58 PM Well, it's been one hell of an NFL season, and it all comes down to the AFC West showdown.

Yes, it has been a wild and wacky season.
Big C 12-28-2008, 08:59 PM Hard to believe that Westbrook did not play as well as he usually does, even in a huge Eagle rout.
Only 50 rushing yards and 12 recieving yards. Hard to believe that Philly won so decisively even though Westbrook did not light it up the way he did against the Cardinals and Giants.
Mr. Television 12-28-2008, 09:18 PM No you wouldn't.
anyone would be better than Coach Cupcake.
Big C 12-28-2008, 09:30 PM anyone would be better than Coach Cupcake.
Even Bills coach Dick "I couldn't run out the clock against the Jets" Jauron?
Wreckless 12-28-2008, 10:10 PM San Fran's a decent team- they play tough, hard, and have a lot of toughness and emotion.
Wreckless, remember that it took a great fourth-quarter to put the Niners away a few months ago.
49ers, IMO, are a team that can make the playoffs next year.
San Fran is a young team, but they are no good. Yeah it took us the 4th quarter to win, but we did. I don't think they will make the playoffs next year but who knows. I consider all of these teams better, in a 6 team playoff race each year.
Giants
Bucs
Eagles
Carolina
Arizona
Cowgirls
Saints
Vikings
Falcons
Bears
Skins
I'd say the Packers are equal to better then SF. That's 12 teams in 6 spots in the NFC. No way are they making the playoffs, unless a few teams next year have some huge injuries and players out of their lineup, things change and SF steps up. We'll see.
MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION, PLEASE..!!!

he was used as a decoy mostly today for whatever reason...It is amazing how many people shadow him on every play
Wreckless 12-29-2008, 12:39 PM This was a very good thread .....
Hell yeah  lol.
I'm waiting for SOLOMON to show up, that's cowardly. You know he would if Dallas won, but we won and killed them. Message or comment him on Facebook Mike, and tell him to get his a$$ over here lol.
Wreckless 12-31-2008, 12:08 PM SOLOMON, where are you? LOL
"I'm looking for you", as you would say.
44-6 LOL
you know you would show up if Dallas won, and only by a score of something like 17-14, yet alone the Eagles KILLING Dallas 44-3 at one point, 44 to 6. Pretty sad on Dallas' part. I'm waiting for you to show up and be a man.
