Rosetta LeNoire is know more for being Estelle Winslow on "Family Matters", but she had a recurring role as Leola Henderson Forbes for two years.

She played this role from 1987 to 1989, when "Family Matters" started their run.

Yes, I loved her as Thelma's aunt/Rolly's wife. It's so funny that years later (on Family Matters) when Estelle married Fletcher - Jester Hairston played Fletcher's dad, Skippy!!! :D

And that Darius McCrary appeared on two Christmas shows as well that Rosetta was on. Telma Hopkins was on a 1988 episode as well. Bumper Robinson was on Amen the last season then the following season had a recurring role on "Family Matters". He even guest starred on Family Matters during the end of the first season. Amen characters got transferred to "Family Matters" as though it was part of program that garauntees an actor work after being on "Amen" . LOL.

Now that I think about it, Sherman Hemsley did the same thing. He appeared on Family Matters as well. I told you. I think that there is some exchange program that promised these Amen actors and actresses work on Family Matters. Maybe it extended to "Jeffersons" guest star Jaleel White and semi regular Ebonie Smith (Jessica Jefferson) and Bumper Robinson because they were on FM as well. LOL

Recurring "Amen" guest Lawanda Page (Darla) guest starred on FM too. LOL.
Recurring "Amen" guest Whitman Mayo appeared on FM too (Fletcher #2) LOL.
