I think the main reason was that I outgrew the show. Like many kids of my generation, I grew up with Happy Days and the whole Happy Days phenomenon. But by the time I hit the 8th season I was 13 years old and ready to move on. Also, I thought the show's focus had completely changed after Richie and Ralph left the show. Also, I felt that the quality of the show, the writing and the acting, had significantly deteriorated.

I understand that you may have been attacked in the early seasons but you advice to try to look at the other.
