Yesterday I tried Waldorf salad with barbecue sauce because I thought the barbecue sauce might add an interesting kick to the flavour. It was quite nice.

The last thing I had to eat was a chicken sandwich (with barbecue sauce) and some cake.

Only when I'm completely broke, and my cupboards are totally bare. :joke:

In reality, I'm not a big eater. I usually just eat to keep me alive, and rarely eat out of pleasure. Not saying I never get pleasure eating, but with all the meds I take, I usually have to force myself.

I ate some sweetcorn (with melted butter) and decided to be a little inventive with a sandwich. I toasted myself a salami, sweetcorn and olive sandwich, with mustard. It was very nice; I want to make it again sometime and this time try it with black olives and cheese. Maybe add some mayonnaise to the mix as well.

By the way, does anyone think that avocado would taste nice in a garlic and vinegary dressng? I was wondering. They don't really have a very distinct flavour of their own so they might taste nice accompanied by that kind of dressing.
