He's going for 300 career wins still, so he has the right to still be playing. I would of thought he would of retired by now as well, but that's the only reason, besides still loving to play the game, as to why he's still around. Small news but still interesting.

If it were 'small news' as you call it, They're wouldn't be over 400 articles about it currently posted online.

It's small news, in the sense that it's not a HUGE free agent, a huge trade or a blockbuster deal. I'm not saying, it's nothing, but it's ok news. Randy Johnson is a big name pitcher, but hasn't been anything for 5-6 years. Outside of his no hitter and perfect game vs. Atlanta 3 years back, he hasn't done anything in 6 years, at least to me. I'd still love to have him on my team though.

I know. That's why I said "He's going for 300 wins this year." He'll get the 300 wins, when the '09 MLB season starts in April, for the overall season. 5 wins is nothing, as long as he stays healthy and in the rotation.
