I went to Walmart only because I had to get dog food, but I browsed around while I was there. All the Xmas decor was 1/2 off so I got 100 plastic silver icicles for next years tree, i got a few ornaments and i got these 2 gold reindeer made out of resin for my dining room table - thats about it. Anyone else hit the bargains?

I may go after work to see if I can find a case for my iPod - hopefully I can find a good deal someplace.

last year at walgreens i got these stained glass (plastic really) window decorations you hang with suction cups. they were $2.19 regularly and i paid 25 cents each for them. i also got this massage mat that was regularly $40 on sale for $10.

I had to work today but at the registers it was busy. I heard Christmas Eve we made sales or surpassed sales from last year on Christmas Eve.

I normally don't go out shopping on these big sale days, but I met my friend at the mall who I haven't seen in a month. We walked around for about an hour. She bought some clothes, but I just bought a wall calendar for half off (I ALWAYS wait until after Dec. 25th to buy my calendars since they're way cheaper) and some Bath and Body works stuff for half off. The parking lot was CRAZY. The inside didn't seem as crowded though. JCPenney opened at 5:30 this morning. When I got there a little before noon I went in their entrance and walked through. Didn't seem too crowded. Guess all the early morning die hard shoppers had gone home already or went to lunch.

I went to target and got 2 really cute, really soft sweaters for $12 a piece. I tried looking for my BF some clothes (as he desperately needs some new pants) but no avail.

I guess I'm really frugal because I'm going to wait until after Jan 1 to get Xmas stuff. Many places do another 1/2 off the 1/2 off making the sale 75% off. The down side is the selection may not be as good, but in the past I've still found nice things, just not as many.

As for non-Xmas items I'll take a look early a.m. tomorrow.

I always look for new calendars as soon as January 1 rolls around. ;)

One of my local supermarkets gives away nice calendars. So I got one for my office & one for home. This yrs theme is puppies & kittens. And there are some really cute pictures!
