Maybe I missed it....but couldn't find any "Jack Benny" thread title for this posting...."Our Miss Brooks" & "Amos & Andy" have one and Jack doesn't?

Anyway.........for those in the NY metro area (and perhaps other areas) Public Television New Jersey Network WNJB will offer 6 seldom aired episodes of Jack Benny on January 1, 2009 beginning at 8PM eastern...

8:00PM with guest Bob Hope
8:30PM with guest Lawrence Welk
9:00PM with guest Carol Burnett
9:30PM with guest Rita Moreno
10:00PM with guest Johnny Carson
10:30PM with guest Andy Williams

also a New Years themed episode will air at 11:30PM on WLIW/Channel 21 in the metro area on Dec. 31, 2008

Jack Benny is also on Variety TV on weekends. Unfortunately, they have a library of abour 8 episodes and keep showing them over and over.

I've often wondered also why this site doesn't have a forum for the sereies when, like you said they have forums for "OUR MISS BROOKS", "AMOS AND ANDY", "BURNS AND ALLEN" and others. Anyway...

Our local PBS station will sometimes air a New Years themed episode of it on Jan. 1st.
Also, there's a DVD release of some public domain episodes that Amazon is selling for around $9! Even though, they're public domain (and therefore, edited:( ), the audio and video is supposed to be exellent and some of them even have the original Lucky Strike commercials.
