Earlier this year in the city of Chicago the price for gasoline was about $4.75 per gallon. Recently the prices have dropped considerably and now the cost is about $1.80 per gallon which has allowed me to use my car more than I did during the summer. Anyways, how much are you paying for gasoline in the area where you live and has the lower prices enabled you to travel more?

I just put $10 today (got 6 1/2 gallons)--$1.53 at the Chevron nearest my house. It has been quite nice, esp since I'm no longer driving that tank I had.

Anywhere from $1.32 to $1.49
It's around 1.69 here... or if I go right over the border to Ohio, it's about 1.55

$1.59. A huge relief from the $4.39 I payed over the summer.

Same here. It was in the 4 buck range now, it's just under 2. I can actually put $5 in my tank and see the difference. LOL

It goes up and down all the time. But usually I fill up with 25 or so.

I saw a range of $1.469-$1.599 on the way home last night here in Dayton. However, there have been sightings of .879 (yes, eighty-seven point nine cents per gallon!) in Aiken, South Carolina! Check out SouthCarolinaGasPrices.com (http://www.southcarolinagasprices.com)!
I gave a $1.47 for it wednesday.
