If you go two threads below this one, you will come to one called "Attempt Number Five". This was one more attempt to let people know how excited I was to have finaly gotten my hands on the "Mamma Mia!" two-disk DVD set! I would be very interested in whether anyone here is a fan of ABBA! I think that they are superb! In any event, I have found various ways to tie in this movie with the various shows on this site. For instance, Felicity Hoffman who made a few appearances on this series is, in my opinion, one babe who can really where dress boots! Wow! Well, in this movie, Christine Baranski did a very impressive rendition of "Dancing Queet"! I would say that the designer boots that she wore in this number put her right up there with Felicity! Other shows on this board that I have made various comparisons about include The Brady Bunch, The Facts of Life, Friends, Gimme a Break!, Mad About You and Will and Grace. My successes to stimulate conversation about this fine movie have been mediocre at best. However, over on the "Gimme a Break!" page, I did one that has already generated nine responses! I think that you guys might be quite amused by some of them! In any event, in between then and now, I have started a new thread on the "Caroline in the City" page and called it "Remote Connection". I have only been able to think of one association between that show and this movie. This connection is that the movie is a musical and Lea Thompson used to be a dancer. In any event, in about another hour, I plan on returning to that page and seeing if I have already generated some responses. If there is anything interesting, I will be sure to tell you guys about it!
