has anybody out there been sick or is currently sick or both? i think this year has been the worst for me. i think i've been sick on and off since the day before Thanksgiving. i have a runny nose and a croup cough right now and i've been taking nighttime medicine, daytime medicine and two of my little cousins gummy bear vitamins. you'd think i wouldn't have a care in the world, huh? lol.

I'm not sure of your age, but have you been immunized against Whooping Cough? I just read last week that's it going around again and adults can get it and not even know it because it's symptoms are similar to bronchitis. It could be something like that that's been lingering.
I had a cold a while back, and do still have a cough from it so hopefully it's just that you've got too. But if you get into bad fits of coughing, it could be more.
My ex is coming down with a cold - just in time for Christmas with his girlfriend. Looks good on him! HA! ;)

i'm 21. and i actually did have a really bad coughing spell one night. i had to drink some water to calm it down. i think it helped it little. i'm not for sure. it was at like, 2:00, 3:00 in the morning. i haven't had it since tho, or i just ignored it. maybe i should go to the doctor. thanks for letting me know. :)

Hey TripperFan, I've just got to tell you that I LOVE your signature...Deck the halls and double the Prozac!!!! You hit the nail right on the head! I don't know...when I was little I used to LOVE Christmas. I had SO MUCH FUN Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and listening to Christmas carols through December and everything. Maybe it's because it's only been a little over a year after my dad's death that's turning me into a grinch, but now whenever I hear a Christmas carol, I almost want to holler, "Oh, shut up!" It's like there's all these feelings of happiness and joy and warmth, blah blah blah, that the world's telling you you're supposed to be feeling this time of year. It'll be a real relief for me when the holidays are finally OVER and life goes back to normal in January and I can feel whatever the heck I want!
Anyway, enough venting on my part. I didn't know you've been sick, Brandon. I am really sorry to hear that. I can relate somewhat because I've kind of been sick too. I have a real problem with having panic attacks, and I found out from a paramedic that panic attacks cause you to hyperventilate and when that happens or goes on for a long period of time, too much carbon dioxide builds up in your body and it can cause A LOT of pain in your joints. A couple of months ago all of my joints were in AGONY and my best friend was so worried about me that she actually called an ambulance out to my house and one of the paramedics figured out what it was and explained it to me. It's still been happening to me kind of a lot here lately. I haven't been in as much pain as I was that time, but sometimes it's still pretty difficult to put weight on my ankles or bend my knees or change positions. Maybe a I ought to just live with a paper bag over my head and kill two birds with one stone...deal with hyperventilating and protect the world from the sight of my face, LOL! But anyway, I hope and pray that your cough goes away and that it's nothing serious.
For what it's worth, Merry Christmas from the Grinch!
