...also like to post on SO?

So far, I'm the only one in our family. I told my 2 sisters about it; but they weren't interested.

I am the only one in my family that is interested in posting on a message board; there is an exception, my niece. She might be interested in posting here; but, I have never discussed this board with her. Maybe I will. I think she will enjoy it here. Since most of you are wonderful people, that I consider to be like my "other" family:)

Nope. I have a little brother, who's 15 and he wouldn't be interested in it & even If I saw my sister enough to ask her, she's way too young.

I am curious to see who does know people in real life besides themselves that post on here. I know people are on here that know each other outside of the site and post on here, like mriggles, Solomon, Sonny & Brian.

if anyone i personally know offline came onto this board and recognized me, i would ask for my entire account on here to be deleted. no question about it. it's not that i've lied or done anything wrong here, but i need the ability to alternate and i'd go crazy if my offline life and my life here were to cross over.

I'm the same way. Not only that, but for me, it would seem kind of weird.
Like for example, I know a few people who's parents have myspace and facebook accounts. It's cool but sometimes I think it's corny for 48 year olds to make these accounts, then they add their kids. No disrespect to 48 year olds who have facebook or myspace but if my Mom, Dad or step-dad ever got an account, I'd probably delete mine or wouldn't add them lol. Not mean, just a different life and way.

My nephew who is in the navy, is the only one who knows I have a myspace page.

I never tell anyone about posting online forums. Posting on forums is more of private hobby for me.

Same. My sister knows...she posted here once or twice years ago, but that's it.

Not that I know of, my son keeps saying he's going to post here but he hasn't so far.

My mom's friend does because he wanted me to do a search for his name and as I was replying to FSU's post on the Sports forum of this site, I had to make it short.

Then I went on my laptop and edited it and finished my post..

the only exception to this is for people from both places to talk to each other on myspace or something without this site being referenced. this kind of reminded me of once when i was reading a myspace blog from one of my friends at school and saw that robyrob had left a funny comment to it. for a few seconds i just stared at it and thought i was going crazy, and then just laughed for about ten minutes. stuff like that i don't mind.
