Disc 5 was awesome! Season 2 ended with Betty's Graduation, the writers were really were in tune with what was happening in life, same as Norman Lear was with All In The Family. Bring On Season 3!!!

I'm not a big fan of FKB, it's OK but I prefer Leave It To Beaver as the ideal 50's family sitcom. Father Knows Best tends to be overly preachy and sappy at times. But with the season 2 DVD's having all complete episodes, it is a tempting buy. I'll have to think it over, perhaps I will order it.

I've started watching Season 2 and am enjoying it immensely. The unedited episodes really are nice!! Also will love watching the bonus features, esp Window on Main Street, episode 2. I watched "Woman in the House" and it was really an offbeat episode that actually showed Margaret getting unnerved and not being a perfect wife as she has been stereotyped. The characters are really being more fleshed out and Jim's not always the straight arrow dad either. When Bud challenged him on the "honesty is the best policy", it was great to see Jim actually stumble in that his advice doesn't always work out 100% right away.
