View Full Version : Let me be the first to predict that the Arizona Cardinals will WIN in Foxboro!
Big C 12-20-2008, 02:51 AM Well, guys,
I've gotten settled in Dubai.
This is my first post on the Sports thread in a few days.
Anyway,
I'd like to call for a stunning upset- Arizona BEATING the Pats in Foxboro.
I'm sick and tired of hearing how Zona can't win on the East, Pats are unbeatable in December, etc.
I don't trust a team that:
A. Got lit up by Chad Pennington
B. Barely beat the Rams AND Chiefs at home
C. Does not have a great secondary/pass defense
D. Has lost THREE home games this year
THE PATRIOTS ARE NOT THAT GREAT THIS YEAR!!
They are HIGHLY overrated!
Wreckless 12-20-2008, 04:10 AM What's with you and the Cardinals now FSU- before you were a Saints and Bills fan?

Saints and Bills aren't in the playoffs.
I want to root for someone to do well in the playoffs that will actually be in the postseason.
Also, I like to tweak Ramona a bit and drive her batty- kind of like how you tweak Solomon.

Well I do that because he annoys me, I don't like him, and he talks crap on Philly teams constantly, without any logic towards his reasoning.
With that being said, I don't know if the Cardinals can beat the Pats this weekend.
(P.S. I know why you like to "tweak" Ramona).
bandito 12-20-2008, 10:20 AM The Patriots will win, on coaching alone.
Wreckless, I like your AVator, TO is one ugly @ss dude.
Mr. Television 12-20-2008, 11:28 AM The Pats will win easily. This game won't even be close.
Big C 12-20-2008, 11:45 AM The Pats will win easily. This game won't even be close.
You also said it would be a miracle if the Cowboys beat the Giants, and that turned out to be a rout.
I don't exactly trust your pigskin predictions.

Don't be knocking him, You're not exactly Jimmy the Greek yourself.

lol thanks man, yeah he is.
congrats on the division win
Big C 12-20-2008, 08:53 PM Bottom line- I know Zona stinks on the East coast, but games are NOT won on history, coaching, and weather.
They are played ON THE FIELD!
After all, nobody thought the Rams could win in Washington or the Eagles in the Meadowlands!
Brian Damage 12-20-2008, 09:03 PM FSU, no offense, but how can anybody take you seriously? You root for 3 different teams, like the Cardinals because of their uniforms AND have predicted the Cardinals would destroy both the Eagles and Giants. lol
Big C 12-20-2008, 09:27 PM Brian, be honest:
how much of a chance did you think the G-Men had against Dallas, Green Bay, or the Pats?
Remember- On any given Sunday, ANYONE can win.
Zoneboy 12-20-2008, 09:36 PM Remember- On any given Sunday, ANYONE can win.
As long as they're playing Detroit. ;)
TVFactFan 12-20-2008, 09:47 PM Cardinal are not beating anybody, Arizona Highschool
Mr. Television 12-20-2008, 11:47 PM You also said it would be a miracle if the Cowboys beat the Giants, and that turned out to be a rout.
I don't exactly trust your pigskin predictions.
Why should anyone trust yours? You pick Arizona every week and usually when they play a good team they lose...especially on the East coast.
Wreckless 12-21-2008, 12:07 AM As long as they're playing Detroit. ;)
Wreckless 12-21-2008, 12:09 AM Actually, I'm not a Cardinals fan whatsoever but they DID beat Dallas lol.
I liked that. Besides that, eh.

The way the Cowboys are playing tonight...I wouldn't consider them that great of a team. They're average...nothing more. See you in Philly next week. lol

Yeah. Damn NFL Network, do you have it? 26-17
If the Eagles beat Washington, cya in a week and a half.
Otherwise, I don't know, if we end up losing lol.
Mr. Television 12-21-2008, 12:20 AM Yeah. Damn NFL Network, do you have it? 26-17

Yea I've been watching the game tonight. For the most part Romo has sucked as usual.lol
Wreckless 12-21-2008, 12:26 AM Yeah. 26-24 now Sonny..Hmm
I hate them, but Dallas always makes games interesting LOL
Wreckless 12-21-2008, 12:29 AM WTF lol. Clint, are you watching this? 32-24 now, 82 yard run, Baltimore.
Didn't they just get a 77 yard rush, and now a 82 yarder? lol.
Am I seeing this correctly
Mr. Television 12-21-2008, 12:29 AM Yeah. 26-24 now Sonny..Hmm

Wade should be fired. Why didn't he go for the onside kick? That big fat idiot.
Mr. Television 12-21-2008, 12:30 AM WTF lol. Clint, are you watching this? 32-24 now, 82 yard run, Baltimore.
Didn't they just get a 77 yard rush, and now a 82 yarder? lol.
Am I seeing this correctly
Yep Romo finally showed up and the defense blew it.
Wreckless 12-21-2008, 12:33 AM Wade should be fired. Why didn't he go for the onside kick? That big fat idiot.
Yeah I thought they did. Yahoo Sports is confusing me lol.
It said Dallas recovered a dropped kickoff from Baltimore. Next minute I see, it's 32-24, 82 yard rush by Baltimore lol.
Wreckless 12-21-2008, 12:34 AM Yep Romo finally showed up and the defense blew it.
Their defense is confusing. They only give up 9 points a few weeks back to a great Tampa Bay team, and now they're giving up 33 points to Baltimore. Baltimore has a not bad offense, but not great.
What is up with the Cowboys d?
Throw you out their as the CB lol.
Wreckless 12-21-2008, 12:42 AM Dallas LOSES LOL
Romo= choke
Big C 12-21-2008, 12:45 AM How does Baltimore's win affect the AFC and NFC playoff races?
BTW, Baltimore is a playoff LOCK, since they play Jacksonville at home, and the Jags used up all their energy against the Colts on Thursday.
BTW, Sonny- if you're going to talk about the Cowboys, can't you put up a separate game thread?
This is about the Arizona/New England game.
Wreckless 12-21-2008, 12:48 AM I don't care about the AFC right now. DALLAS LOST hahaha. I'm so excited.
Wreckless 12-21-2008, 12:48 AM Btw, I made a thread for it FSU. I'll talk about the COWGIRLS LOSING, in their lol.
cya
Zoneboy 12-21-2008, 01:00 AM BTW, Sonny- if you're going to talk about the Cowboys, can't you put up a separate game thread?
This is about the Arizona/New England game.
You were the first one to mention Dallas in this thread.
You also said it would be a miracle if the Cowboys beat the Giants, and that turned out to be a rout.
I don't exactly trust your pigskin predictions.
Sonny only replied to what you started so reminding him that this thread is about the Arizona/New England game is somewhat redundant don't you think?
mriggles 12-21-2008, 02:00 AM The Pats will win easily. This game won't even be close.
agreed...the cardinals are not even bringing 6 starters to new england... They will lose this week & they are playing this all wrong... They have tanked it since winning the division & that will bite them big time in janurary
mriggles 12-21-2008, 02:02 AM The way the Cowboys are playing tonight...I wouldn't consider them that great of a team. They're average...nothing more. See you in Philly next week. lol
I will be waiting with uh open arms
Mr. Television 12-21-2008, 02:04 AM I will be waiting with uh open arms

Big C 12-21-2008, 02:31 AM They have tanked it since winning the division & that will bite them big time in janurary
Your Eagles did the same thing when they went to the Super Bowl.
Got to 13-1 in the "T.O. breaks leg" game, and rested all their players against the Rams and Bengals.
Wreckless 12-21-2008, 02:36 AM LOL...MY IPOD IS FILLED WITH FIRE ME UP SONGS!!!!! The nearly 3 hr ride will FLY EAGLES FLY RIGHT ON BY!!!!!
Eye of The Tiger as well I hope?

Very True. We could of been 15-1 that season.
Mr. Television 12-21-2008, 02:52 PM 21-0 Patriots. The Cards can't play in the snow.
Brian Damage 12-21-2008, 03:16 PM Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!
Big C 12-21-2008, 06:11 PM Too little, too late for the Pats.
Unless Ramona's Seahawks beat the Jets, I think they're in HUGE trouble and may MISS the playoffs!
mriggles 12-22-2008, 11:50 PM Your Eagles did the same thing when they went to the Super Bowl.
Got to 13-1 in the "T.O. breaks leg" game, and rested all their players against the Rams and Bengals.
agreed & i was furious about that when it happened....
It is not good strategy at all IMO, but I don't get paid millions of dollars to be a head coach so WTF do I know
