Majel Barrett passed after battling leukemia. Best know as Gene Rodenberry's wife, nurse Chappel , Mrs. Troia, and the computer voice in the star trek series, she also played Gwen Rutherford in Leave it to Beaver. I remember watching the picnic episode of LTB saying to myself, I know her and was so surprised when I read the credits.

She was well known as an advocate for abused and abandoned animals and worked with several rescue organizations.

She was the only person to appear in the entire Star Trek franchise.

She and Scotty(James Doohan) also appeared together in a third season
episode of Bonanza about a water shortage and the Cartwrights giving
anyone who needed water access to free water on their land. May Majel
rest in peace.

She was so memorable as Lwaxana Troi despite only portraying the character on six episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation and two episodes of Star Trek Deep Space 9. The fact that Mrs. Troi is as well remembered as any of the regular characters is a real tribute to Majel Barrett's skill as an actress. The Star Trek universe will never be the same. Rest in Peace:(

I never knew that, Lee. Thanks! Anyway, I enjoyed her role as Lumpy's mom, too. May she :rip:.
