i feel bad for fred sanford way lamont treats him mean yells at him insults his cooking when he trying make him some food he dont got cook him food u know he says he be there watching tv then goes out with julio the next

then when something happens then he worrie about him it sad fred schould told him off more

Lamont loved Fred, but Fred got on his nerves! It was a relationship that many have in real life. That's what made the show so great. Not everybody gets along with each other like the Cleaver's, Cosby Show, or Brady Bunch. But, in the end, they still loved each other very much.

i know trust me i got that 2 he seemed yell at him about something least fred always yelled back that why it one of my fav shows.

Totally!! Their father/son relationship was one of the most realistic - and funniest! - on TV. :lol:

I actually liked the first couple of seasons better when Lamont was more of a jerk with Fred and they fought more. Later, he just became the "straight man" to let Fred know when he was doing wrong. The fighting/loving relationship in seasons 1-3 was FAR more interesting to me (IMO)

yeah espically the one where he put him in a nursing home so he can go round the world with a tramp lol how mean but u know it wouldn last.

That's how I felt.Lamont had more balls back then.

i guess it how they acted back then lamont n fred went at it alot then he let fred do what he wanted even joined in on his schems with fred

Lamont was supposed to be meaner on the show, but the writers changed that in the later seasons.
