Jude The Obscure 12-18-2008, 08:16 PM I'm really curious.
I know The Jeffersons did several--must have been at least 6 or 7 Christmas shows.
Any other show do a lot?

Full House only did 4 holiday episodes and 1 new years episode
DSfan 12-19-2008, 03:27 PM I'm not sure but I feel like Home Improvement always had many different holiday episodes like the one with the light contest on the roof and then when Jill's sisters come in and others I can't even think of right now.
Jude The Obscure 12-19-2008, 04:07 PM The Bob Newhart Show had 6 -one for each season. :D
Really? that is amazing!! Not really a fan of TBNS, but I don't mind watching Christmas episodes of any show! :D

As an O&H fan myself, it's a shame we don't get to see all the episodes they made.
Buffyboy323 12-19-2008, 04:32 PM Full House only did 4 holiday episodes and 1 new years episode

I stand corrected...thank you...but we all agree it isn't even in the running for most christmas episodes produced.
Buffyboy323 12-19-2008, 05:45 PM I stand corrected...thank you...but we all agree it isn't even in the running for most christmas episodes produced.
Full House is definitely not in the running, LOL. :)
ER has had 15 Christmas episodes in total.
TeeVeeCloset 12-19-2008, 07:58 PM ER would definately win the drama category with Ozzie & Harriet in the comedy category until another series steps up, but since I believe the original question was what series, etc?...the winner would be "ER" so far!
Jude The Obscure 12-19-2008, 08:18 PM I'm not picky--series be it comedy or drama (but let's not include the daytime soaps--GL would have to be the winner then )
Tee Vee, how many Christmas episodes are there of O&H, btw?
Lorimar Television 12-19-2008, 08:29 PM I'm not sure but I feel like Home Improvement always had many different holiday episodes like the one with the light contest on the roof and then when Jill's sisters come in and others I can't even think of right now.

Tee Vee, how many Christmas episodes are there of O&H, btw?
I could be off by one or so, but my records show 11 produced, there were many more holiday themed episodes than you would think, I was quite surprised especially since the public domain christmas themed dvd's always contain the same 3 episodes......these are the ones I have that are in the collectors trading circuit, "the pen & pencil set" (listed last) which aired in april is about trying to figure out who gave the gift when it is found in the closet months after christmas..how's that for holiday episodes, still being done in april!

James28 12-22-2008, 01:34 AM The old animated cartoon South Park had 7 christmas episodes throughout its run: (3 under Mary Kay Bergman, 3 under Eliza Schneider, and only one under Gracie Lazar/April Stewart). I hope a christmas episode premieres before Stewart leaves the show.
treky 12-23-2008, 03:10 AM what do you mean "the old" animated cartoon "SOUTH PARK"? The show's still on.
treky 12-23-2008, 03:16 AM The Bob Newhart Show had 6 -one for each season. :D
I remember back when Nick At Nite showed it, one year, the week before Xmas they showed all 6-not all in one nite-but Monday through Saturday.
That's when I first found out they had one for each season. I remember when it first aired, but I thought they only had 2 or 3.
comedyfreak 12-23-2008, 04:59 AM How about the Simpsons they're in their 19th season they should definately have a few under their belt.
Jude The Obscure 12-23-2008, 01:13 PM How about the Simpsons they're in their 19th season they should definately have a few under their belt.
hee hee hee--the show was launched in 1989 with a Christmas episode! :D
Heidi Dawn 12-23-2008, 03:14 PM Full House had 3 Christmas episodes....
"Our Very First Christmas Show" (season 2)
"A Very Tanner Christmas" (season 6)
"Arrest Ye Merry Gentlemen" (season 8)
And the New Year's episode was "Happy New Year" (season 4).
There was another Christmas episode on 'Full House', it was 'The Perfect Couple' episode from season 7. The Tanner household is in abundance of Christmas decorations and the tree is up. This is the episode where Joey hosts a game show pilot with three couples and Danny breaks up with Vicki at Christmastime.
Out of its 8 seasons, Bewitched had four Christmas episodes: A Vision of Sugar Plums (Season 1, repeated in Season 2), Humbug Not to Be Spoken Here (Season 4), Santa Stays and Stays (Season 6), and Sisters At Heart (Season 7)
JulieSomoski 12-23-2008, 03:54 PM Season Six: No Place Like Home
Tim's brothers help move their mother out of the family home, but Tim takes an immediate dislike to the new owners' plans for the place. But Tim's mother tells them to take whatever's important to Tim and his brothers at the end.
I really wouldn't count this one as a Christmas episode. Same goes for the Full House episode you mentioned above, Heidi. I've always counted Christmas episodes as those directly related to Christmas. Just my opinion :D
Roseanne had quite a few - i think they had one every season after season 4 (which would give it 5 or 6 I believe).

Lorimar Television 12-24-2008, 01:01 AM I really wouldn't count this one as a Christmas episode.
True, but at the beginning they're talking about Christmas on Tool Time and then Wilson talks about some holiday thing. Unlike the Full House who never mentions it's Christmas time.
Buffyboy323 12-24-2008, 02:43 AM Roseanne had quite a few - i think they had one every season after season 4 (which would give it 5 or 6 I believe).

You're right - I guess I was also counting "December Bride" from season 8, but I guess that really wouldn't count as a Christmas episode :)
