When you work at a grocery store you think about things like this. Since Christmas is the time of year when everybody wants all sorts of party platters or trays or what not, how do you go about doing it? Do like to just leave it up to the store to do your veggie/ meat trays, fruit baskets, and food platters or do you like to go to the store, pick up the ingredients and do them all yourself at home?

From what i've seen, the trays prepared by the stores are a ripoff. You'll come out cheaper buying the items and making it yourself.

I like preparing my trays myself. That way I can put on it what I know my guests like and no one is disappointed. I do it every year for my birthday party.
