I am very happy that cbs/paramount finally saw the light and continued on with the original music and editing issues, i was shocked myself when i heard that on the back of the dvd ir did not say music has been changed for this entertaiment version, i hope to see the rest of the dvd like that as well. Does anybody think that cbs/paramount will try to redo happy days season 2 as a special editions since they droped the ball the first time. Since you all got the dvd could somebody please pose some pics up.

the only way i could see them ever doing it would be to get us to buy the "Complete Series" after all the other season are released and have sold the required number of copies

Yes. I agree since they got the original music intact for season 1, 3, and 4. They should do the same for season 2.

Even if there is a Complete Series set, all the discs for all the seasons would be copied from the discs of the invidual sets, including Season 2. The only way that Season 2 would feature all the original music, is if a smaller company leases HD from Paramount before all the individual season sets are completed. That's just my theory, as it happened with "The Cosby Show", when the first individual season was all syndicated episodes, but the original holder of Cosby Show leased the show to First Look.

Actually, the original music for season 2 is intact in the DVD version, but only on region 2. So they should do the same for region 1 since most DVD players don't play those PAL discs.

I agree Studd.

BUT, I doubt they'll do it for the Region 1 (USA) unless like another said "A Complete Series" comes out.

But I would buy it in a second if the "Music" was intact despite the "picture" issues.

I think The Christmas episode is also missing music on the region 2 version? The scene at Arnolds on the region 2 version has the same back ground music as the region 1 set. And also Rock Around The Clock opening has also been replaced on the region 2 set.
