Believe it or not, 2008 is is almost over. Heck, the entire decade is almost past. However we have one more year to go and that is 2009. What are some of the things that you hope to accomplish in 2009?

I have a whole bunch of things to accomplish:

* Early next year I plan to move out and get my own place. I'm really excited about this.

* I hope that everything will continue to work out between Kelly and I. Since I met her last summer life has become so complicated. However, I feel it's been worth it. As I've gotten to know Kelly more, the more I see how special a person she is. The strong feelings I have for her I've only had for one other person in my life and that was a long time ago. When I describe my feelings for her, I can actually use the word love and not feel like I'm being extreme.

* I want to continue to grow and mature as a person.

* I plan to reread all seven of Stephen King's Dark Tower novels.

Debts suck. I've been there.

Plus I want to scrape up enough money to put a down payment on a new car.

i'll try to update my livejournal every day.
hopefully i can rebuild a relationship with someone.
i'll be in two choirs, and maybe a third.

at the end of the fall semester, i should receive my certificates in word processing and office assistance.

2009 is going to be a busy year. i'm going to try to finish up the majority of my units needed so i can graduate spring 2010. so that'll mean a lot of work on my part. i've got an internship next semester at a courthouse. i'll probably find a job or another internship for summer. i'm really hoping to meet new people and hangout more with my friends. finding a boyfriend would be nice as well.

Try to get into a great, or the 4 year college(s) I want
get a new car
go to more sports games, mainly the Eagles at the Linc
get away from this hell hole house I live & somehow barely survive in
get a good job
work tons more on my music career
travel all around the US- one of the places I want to see and hang out is California, specifically LA & the Bay
I have a friend, who works as a security guard in LA and hopefully I can go out to chill with him next summer, we'll see
much much more...

I hope to get our old house sold so we can walk out with at least $100,000. Then that way we can buy new furniture, take a big trip somewhere, get a laptop, and etc.

I know! Seems like just yesterday!

-FINALLY finish my undergrad
-Get some kind of part-time job
-Go on several interviews for an internship to start early 2010
-Make plans to get into the Masters of Accounting program

i'll be getting my drivers lisence and starting my senior year of high school in '09...scary -_-

and to take things one day at a time and let the chips fall where they may.

Get serious about college finally(just took 2 semesters off, I'm never going to finish like that).

Get a job(I've put it off long enough).

Go on a trip somewhere probably in the summer(haven't been anywhere in almost 4 years, sigh)

2008 was a year that had its ups and downs. It was much better than 2007, but not as good as the 90's.

My goals for 2009....

To get my Drivers License.
To have a better job and keep the other one as well.
To move out after my sister gets married.

I will be spend the first half of the year saving money, working a little overtime and doing research on scholarships and grants for law school. I will start law school in the fall of 2009. I will also try to take a vacation before I start school.

You can say that again. I was 14 when 2000 rolled around... I'll be 24 before the decade is out. And that's just 8 short months away. Never imagined myself being 24. Scary!

Ok, me.

I have two solid goals for 2009 -- work and SAVE MONEY. Ideally, I'd like to relocate somewhere OUT OF STATE by at least mid-2010 (I'll turn 25 that summer).

*get my drivers license
*hopefully, i will be a published novelist and/or playwrite

I am in the same boat you are in. I work in the automotive industry so you know thats not safe, and I have been hearing talk of layoffs coming in January.

I am going to try not to worry about because there really isnt much I can do, but let the chips fall where they may.
