Simple question. For those who celebrate Christmas & put up a tree around the November-December holiday season, what do you and your family put on the tree, either in the past, for awhile as a tradition or overall? Originally, I'm pretty sure as a kid and growing up, my family put up a star atop our tree. Down my Dad's, on our tree we have an angel and down my Mom's, I think we have a star still on their that we use. What about you? Vote on the poll & discuss :cool:

Neither, we have an animated Mickey Mouse on top of our tree.

My bad. On the poll I forgot to add the "Neither" option or "both" for people who have divorced parents with two trees this time of year. Anyways, I voted star :).

An angel usually but sometimes I switch it up with a star or a red bow.

Actually, we have a big bow on the top of our tree. We have had stars and angels in the past, however.

Up until the last few years we've always had an angel, but recently we started using a star. I like them both.

I have had both but I prefer the star.

I never can get the angels to sit properly so she's sitting on my end table and I've got a version of a "star" I guess on there this year.

For years we used a really cool thing Noma used to put out but it broke a few years back and I even glued, taped and did whatever I could to repair it but it finally bought the farm. I can't find them again - seems like they no longer make them which is really weird.

So I've been buying different things to try.

I like Brian's version with the Mickey Mouse! No doubt purchased on a trip to Disney World! ;)

My Mom has this cool star on the top of the tree that rotates. It's very nice.

Of course if I had my way, I'd put my Hallmark Star Wars Mellenium Falcon ornament on top of the tree.

But as usual, no one wants to listen to my ideas.
