View Full Version : Coach dvds...
oneking 12-12-2008, 06:30 AM Hey guys,
I have dvds of about 90% of the Coach eps. They're not taped from TV, but are from original digital source material. They're a bit softer in focus than the Universal dvds, but still look good, and sound crisp. Considering that Universal has stopped releasing their official dvds, I'm considering sharing what I have with other fans.
Please let me know if you would be interested, so I can decide if this is something worthwhile to do.
Thanks!
screamingeagle 12-12-2008, 09:59 PM That really makes me sad they're not releasing anymore. :(
I -might- be interested. [Anything after the first 3 seasons obviously] Think you could post a screen cap or two to show the quality? And give an estimation on how much you'd want for them?
Thanks!

I'll do you one better. Here's a video sample of how all the eps look. I included all transitions.

If you request one of the few eps that I only have on vhs, I'll always post that, as well. I don't want anybody getting screwed on this.
As for price, I know that each season usually went for $20. So for 6 seasons, that would be $120. But since I don't have every single one, I'm thinking of just making it $100. I know that a box set already exists of all 9 seasons for $60, but I also hear it's pretty bad. This is SOLID QUALITY, and each disc will be lableled nicely, to be enjoyed as a keepsake.
The other option is a CUSTOM SET, consisting of just the episodes you enjoy most, put together in the order in which they aired. In this case, you wouldn't have to pay full price for a lot of episodes that you weren't a huge fan of.
That's what I'm thinking. Let me know your feedback. Thanks!
bh7812 12-28-2008, 12:11 AM I'm just curious, do you have the series finale at all? If you do could you post this one episode up somewhere please? While I'd like to have the rest of the series too, if I can get hold of only one of the later episodes that would be the one. If not it's ok. I have been unable to find much in the way of anything beyond season 3, at least that i would trust enough to buy :(
screamingeagle 12-28-2008, 01:48 AM Quality looks pretty amazing. If I can get enough money saved up, I'd definitely like anything after the 3rd season.
oneking 12-30-2008, 03:48 AM I have all 3 parts of the season finale, unedited, and at the same quality as the sample that I posted. If you would like a dvd, let me know and we'll try and work something out that works in your budget.

Hi Bh,
Please let me know any concerns you have about purchasing a dvd, and I will do my best to address those concerns. Meanwhile, be sure to view the video sample that I posted to give you an idea of what you would get from me. My desire is to help fill in the gaps that Universal left us with. I'm not out to screw anybody, and will stand by the quality of my work. I'm a fan, too.

Thanks, screamingeagle. Perhaps you might just want to purchase one dvd at a time. That way, it's just occasional payments of $20, rather than $100 all at once. Let me know if that helps. I'm trying to make this managable for other fans, so don't hesitate to contact me with any further questions or concerns.

My concern isn't the price (GREAT price by the way), or the quality which does look very good. My concern comes from, and it's not your fault, with buying something and not recieving it. I tell people all the time to be VERY careful with those scam sites that claim to have complete series sets of a LOT of shows because I found that out the hard way last Christmas. I wanted Newhart, Coach and a few other shows. My folks ordered Newhart but we never got it :( I felt awful about it and still do. Luckily we got our money back :) I guess what I'm saying is, if I order from you, you won't forget to fill the order?
I DO want to order from you, you seem sincere. I might have to wait until February though since January is "Try to cut back on spending month"
But overall the quality of your work looks great and I will probably order from you as long as you can assure me you won't forget about my order :)
oneking 01-01-2009, 04:03 PM I just wanted to let you know that I sent you a private message, regarding this matter, in case you weren't aware. At this time, I'm putting the eps together, working with my wife on the artwork for the labels, and deciding what menu format the discs will have. I'm hoping for the opportunity to share these with many other fans, but I don't know how wide the appeal for this collection will be. Time will tell.
