Just thought I'd say hi to my fellow geeks, LOL Just kidding. I finally got TiVo and have been recording Wings every day now for about three months. Man this is cool. Wings is without a doubt my favorite show of all time. I remember in the nineties coming home from work every night and watching an hour of Wings from seven to eight on USA and then on Thursdays (later on Tuesdays) watching it again on NBC.

Now I'm coming home from work and watching Wings again---this time on TiVo.

I think my favorite episode is the one where Joe freaks out at everyone and says "What about me? What am I supposed to do when I finally come to the realization that MY LIFE SUCKS".

Too bad Thomas Hayden Church left the show. Lowell Mather was a great character. Didn't like Bud Bronski (?) at all. His character stunk.

Also, after watching about fifty episodes on TiVo now, I realize I'm not a big fan of Faye. Her lines were way too long. When Faye starts talking, I sometimes fast forward.

Anyway, glad to be here and look forward to sharing thoughts about episodes, characters, and the actors.

I love that episode you are talking about, too. It's "Joe Blows" and it's one of Tim Daly's best performances. He should have been nominated for an emmy in this episode. And of course Brian was funny when he figured out that omelette meant overdue. LOL

Funny, that line that you quoted from "Joe Blows"... A few years ago, I was hanging out with a girl. She was taking me shopping (because I only wear the same two shirts, well three counting my Kroger shirt). Anyways, we went out that one time and the whole time, I kept hearing Joe say that line in my head. And I just kept thinking to myself "I know where I belong. In front of my television watching 'Wings'." Yeah, there's a reason I'm still single today, lol.

I guess I was nervous and "Wings" is my comfort show.
