It's not official, but it certainly looks like Caylee's body has finally been recovered. At least this beautiful little angel can finally get a proper burial. :( I don't understand parents who abuse or even kill their own children. I really don't. I'm sure there's a special place in Hell reserved for these selfish monsters though.

Any murdered child story case upsets me, but this one in particular breaks my heart because my cousin's little girl is the same age as Caylee. They were both born in August 2005.

Rest in peace, Caylee Marie Anthony. You are in a place where you are not an "inconvenience".

This whole story is just sad and sick. It's just a shame that this little girl couldn't have been born to another family. :(

And to think of people who try for years to have a child of their own and don't succeed, yet this scumbag is given the prescious gift of a sweet little girl and destroys her because "mommy duties" interfered with her social life

I hope they put her in the general population. There shouldn't be protective custody or suicide watch for losers like these.

^ Put her in with a whole big group of women prisoners. You off your man and no one there would blink an eye, but your CHILD...

This story is tragic. There can be closure now for Caylee and justice will be served.

casey anthony is a lazy, selfish, manipulative, compulsive liar. the fact that she has been caught lying about caylee in the investigation is borderline proof that she holds responsibility for her disappearance. those supposed google searches she made ("neck breaking", "household weapons") are just icing on the cake.

If you want updates, catch Nancy Grace. You have to put up with rude Nancy, but they have all the latest updates... (I admire Nancy Grace for being a victim's advocate, but she is very hateful to her guests at times! )

Poor little thing. It's terrible what happened to her. No one, let alone a little girl, deserves that. RIP :(

may she rest in peace. i don't know how her mom could've killed her. she was so adorable & sweet. all anyone should've done was just hug her constantly. casey anthony is disgusting. it makes me sick to know that she was given the chance to have a child and killed her without a thought when others want a child so desperately. the things she's said about her daughter in ims, and the google searches. it's just heartbreaking. i can't imagine how anyone could do that to their child. :(

It really is terrible. If she wanted to party & have fun all the time, she could have tried seeing if a relative would take Caylee or put her up for adoption instead of killing her. I just don't understand how she could do that to her.

She tried to put Caylee up for adoption when she was born, but Cindy wouldn't let her. :(

So why wasn't Cindy taking care of her? I think she is just as guilty in Caylee's death.

I don't know and Cindy will have to live with that for the rest of her life. Because she could have avoided this whole mess if she would have let Casey put Caylee up for adoption and Caylee would be alive today. :(

I agree Cindy created a power struggle by not letting Casey put Caylee up for adoption.

Isn't it weird how we never see news coverage whenever black or non-white children go missing?

don't remember where i learned it, but the media can only handle a few missing children cases per year. since caucasian is the dominant race in the US, it's just how it happens. no racism involved.

^But when all combined... don't minority groups make up for the majority of the population?

There is a sociologist out there who claims that adult missing white women cases get so much attention because secretly, the majority of men (no matter what color, race, religion, etc.) want to **** a young, beautiful white woman. So the fact that they are missing secrectly turns them on and attracts them to the news coverage which translates to $$$.

DNA Tests Confirm Remains Are Caylee Anthony's
Death Considered Homicide

POSTED: Friday, December 19, 2008

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Authorities in Orlando, Fla., are confirming that skeletal remains found last week are those of a toddler missing since June.

The county medical examiner said Caylee Anthony's death is considered a homicide.

A utility worker found the remains less than a half-mile from where Caylee lived. The child's mother was indicted on murder and other charges, even though a body hadn't been found until now.

The medical examiner said some of the remains were as small as pebbles, and authorities couldn't be certain how the child was killed.

Meanwhile, the Orange County sheriff said his office is looking into whether a tip about the remains was ignored over the summer. He said the investigation will show whether authorities might have "missed a window of opportunity" in the case.

That poor little child I can't even begin to imagine what she went through.

I hope the DP ends back on the table for Casey. But in a way I think she spend the rest of her life in prison for robbing Caylee of a long life.

So many things about this case don't make sense...

The utility worker calls in tips back in August that he saw a suspicious bag...apparently, it was checked out but cops found nothing (this is like 2 or 3 days before the hurricane hit and flooded the area--so they had plenty of time). I heard that rattlesnakes in that area had scared them, so they didn't do a thorough search (oh, come on! )

After nearly 6 months of searching, they finally find the body just off a main road--the utility worker says it's the same bag he saw back in August---why was it not found before? By now, the remains are skelotonized, so there's probably not much evidence as to cause of death...

It looks a though maybe (barring any significant pending toxicology findings) the prosecution will have a hard time proving, without a doubt, that Casey killed the child. Other than Casey's actions (waiting a month to fess up that she's been missing all that time and going partying while the child was missing).

Don't you wish that we could give Casey some sort of "truth serum" and that whatever she says while under it's influence would be submissible in court?
