This should be fun and I thought of this a few days ago for the sports board. Basically, I start off with two categories (two players, two sports teams etc.) or a certain element, then the next poster after me picks which one they like better or prefer. Then that person presents two new this or that categories. Try to keep it creative & even realistic so it makes things fun. Like for example:

Kobe's 81 points in a game vs. Wilt's 100
Lebron to the cavs vs. Kobe to the Lakers (MVP wise)
OR
The Pittsburgh Penguins this year or The Detroit Red Wings

^^^^
Those are just samples & examples of what you can use.

Ok here's mine to start.

The Winter Olympics vs. The Summer Olympics?

Next person picks which one they like better or which one is better, then they come up with two new ones of their own. GO.

Winter Olympics (HOCKEY RULES!)

Arizona Cardinals or Denver Broncos- Which of these much-maligned division leaders has a better shot to win a playoff game or two?

Definitely the Cardinals. Broncos have a great offense, but not as explosive as Arizona does, IMM (in my mind), plus Arizona is excellent on all 3 sides of the ball- offense, defense and special teams. Great receivers, that Cromartie kid, Antonio's little brother ran back one the other day for a TD and looks good up and coming.

I def. think Arizona can win at least one playoff game this year/ '09. We'll see. Btw, hockey rules.

More Likely To Happen: The Phillies repeating as WS champs or the Boston Celtics repeating as NBA Champs? (Solomon, DON'T ANSWER this one)

I'd say the Phillies because of the lack of major competition.

Philly has only a few serious threats in the N.L.- Mets, Cubs, Dodgers.

Boston, OTOH, has to deal with the Lakers, Cavs, Magic, Pistons, and Hornets.

For once, it's not to hear someone talking about Zona in a rational way, without dissing them (Sol) or bad language (Ramona, are you listening?)

Which potential #1 seed has a higher chance of possibly losing in the divisional playoffs at home- Titans or Giants?

Giants, mostly because they lost Plaxiglass. Big mouth, good player and criticial to have in the playoffs. Without him, I don't know what they can or can't do.

Better Player- Derek Jeter or Alex Rodriguez? Overall.

Better Player- Derek Jeter or Alex Rodriguez? Overall.Derek Jeter. He's done a lot better in the playoffs than A-Rod has.
Better Closer- Mariano Rivera or Brad Lidge?

I think overall Mariano has the SLIGHT edge but as of the last season or two, Lidge. Perfect on his last 50 save opportunities, been great ever since the Pujols homer 3/4 years ago and hey he won a WS this past year.

Hockey- more exciting- the penalty shot or a hat trick by a player?

Penalty shot.

Sometimes, when a player scores a hat trick (three goals in a game), the goals are not always pretty.

FSU, it's still your turn. You never gave two new matchups for the next poster to pick from.

More likely to happen:

Solomon roots for the Eagles or Ramona cheering for the Arizona Cardinals?

Neither lol.

I would of said Ramona rooting for the Cardinals, but they are division rivals. Solomon hates Philly Sports for whatever silly reason, even before he became a Dallas or Giants fan. so i'll say ramona.

Better all time head coach: Red Auberbach or Phil Jackson?

Who gets back in the NFL first- Michael Vick, Pacman Jones or Daunte Stallworth? List in order of first to last.

I definitely think my man Stallworth won't be in the league for at least 3 years, if not forever, so it's down to the other 2. I say Vick. I believe Pacman may never be back and I'm perfectly fine with that.
