Earlier, I asked if further seasons of MITM are being released but unfortunately because of music rights issues there are no plans. What gives with the rights involving this show?

Music rights was the inital reason. There has been no new information for many years.

People release DVDs to make money, and if the artists whos music is being used demand too much money that FOX don't think they can make back then its not worth them releasing. This musics rights issue has effected a few shows getting to DVD.

There is alos the option of re-doing the music but this of course would take time which again might not be finacially viable.
