After one F*cking win now all of a sudden the Panthers are an ELITE NFC team. Toilet TimeDon't count the Panthers out, Solomon. They are probably the most underrated team in the NFC. To me The Panthers are a Sleeper. Watch out. TVFactFan 12-09-2008, 07:38 PM Don't count the Panthers out, Solomon. They are probably the most underrated team in the NFC. To me The Panthers are a Sleeper. Watch out. Jake Delhomme is not GOOD Big C 12-09-2008, 07:43 PM No offense, Solomon, but there are some people out there who are NOT going to just hand the NFC to the Giants. You, OTOH, just think the entire NFC should just give up. I am NOT ready to give up and kiss New York's big blue butts like you, butt-kisser. Carolina can RUN the ball, and Delhomme DID get to a Super Bowl. BTW- Delhomme and the Panthers BEAT Eli and the Giants in a playoff game at Giants Stadium three years ago! Big C 12-09-2008, 07:46 PM After one F*cking win now all of a sudden the Panthers are an ELITE NFC team. One win? Carolina has beaten Atlanta, New Orleans, Chicago, and Arizona- no easy wins on their schedule. If they win out against Denver, the Giants, and New Orleans, they will have EARNED it! Big C 12-09-2008, 07:50 PM if they can't run the ball then what? Get the ball to Steve Smith, a dynamic wide reciever who's WAAAY better than anyone on the Giants' offense! bandito 12-09-2008, 07:50 PM Jake Delhomme is not GOODhe's not the worst, either. jake throws a nice long ball, a couple of them to smith and who knows? GARFIELDKOOL 12-09-2008, 07:53 PM Don't count the Panthers out, Solomon. They are probably the most underrated team in the NFC. To me The Panthers are a Sleeper. Watch out. I know, just because they don't get exposure on his beloved ESPN, does not mean they are frauds. He seems to forget that Jake Delhomme helped take the Panthers to the SB a few years ago. TVFactFan 12-09-2008, 07:54 PM Get the ball to Steve Smith, a dynamic wide reciever who's WAAAY better than anyone on the Giants' offense! But Delhomme can't run or move in the pocket so if the running game is not work he is done GARFIELDKOOL 12-09-2008, 07:56 PM Jake Delhomme is not GOOD You know what, you need to give credit where credit is due. Jake Delhomme went to a SB a few years ago. Why does it pains you to give people credit?! IMO, Jake Delhomme is better than Kerry Collins, you know, the QB of the team with the best record in the league?! The NFC South is for real, and you need to recognize that. I think you are jealous! Big C 12-09-2008, 07:57 PM But Delhomme can't run or move in the pocket so if the running game is not work he is done Quarterbacks have to THROW the ball, not run! GARFIELDKOOL 12-09-2008, 07:57 PM But Delhomme can't run or move in the pocket so if the running game is not work he is done His team is winning, and I keep telling you he help take histeam to a SB. Big C 12-09-2008, 07:58 PM The NFC South is for real, and you need to recognize that. Solomon thinks that the NFL doesn't exist outside of the NFC East. Besides, didn't those "terrible" Arizona Cardinals beat YOUR mighty Cowboys?! icecream 12-09-2008, 07:58 PM The Panthers are only one game behind the Giants for best record in the NFC, and they're in a division that's just as tough, if not tougher, than the NFC East. TVFactFan 12-09-2008, 07:59 PM You know what, you need to give credit where credit is due. I give Mcnabb and Big Ben credit all the time GARFIELDKOOL 12-09-2008, 08:00 PM Solomon thinks that the NFL doesn't exist outside of the NFC East. Besides, didn't those "terrible" Arizona Cardinals beat YOUR mighty Cowboys?! I know, he doesn't watches games outside the NFC East, and I think he is a closet Eagles fan. GARFIELDKOOL 12-09-2008, 08:03 PM I give Mcnabb and Big Ben credit all the time Big Ben had a decent game Sunday. But for most of this season, he has been horrible. Look at what he did against the Giants. In his defense, Pittsburgh's O-line hasn't been that great. Oh......I forgot, you only gave QBs credit that play in the state that you live in! There are more QBs around the country you know! TVFactFan 12-09-2008, 08:11 PM Big Ben had a decent game Sunday. But for most of this season, he has been horrible. Carolina has beaten Atlanta, New Orleans, Chicago, and Arizona- no easy wins on their schedule. If they win out against Denver, the Giants, and New Orleans, they will have EARNED it! & if they win out they will be the 1 seed! Wreckless 12-10-2008, 02:14 AM The key to beating both teams is stopping the run all together and to beating the Giants, stopping the run, taking the momentum away & pressuring the Giants. Taking away their confidence will get you a win, just like it got the Eagles a win last Sunday. We out ran them, shut down their run offense, blitzed Manning and took over at the line of scrimmage, which is another key in beating NY. Carolina is a great team, they ran for 300 yards last night vs. a 9-3 Tampa Bay team, with a great defense. Jeff Garcia is a great QB and Antonio Bryant made the catch of the century last night, and is blooming for them despite personal problems in the past. We'll see. All 3 teams discussed are excellent. |
