So this is what Microsoft thinks is a great replacement for Outlook Express???
I've about had it with this problematic e-mail software! A few weeks back it wouldn't let me read my newsgroups without giving me "We cannot properly open this folder at this time" garbage. Now it is not allowing me to delete e-mail from my ISP e-mail account-- a constant "an unknown error has ocurred" message pops up. I'm glad I still have my old Outlook Express on my computer--it never acted that badly! Yes, I need to get away from Microsoft crap and just install Thunderbird and be done with it.

That's why I don't use LiveMail...it does suck! I stick with my ISP's reply mail service.

Where do you get the Windows live mail? Just asking so it doesn't get downloaded or anything.

Windows Live Mail came to me when they e-mailed me at Hotmail to say MS was not going to update Outlook Express anymore and we had to get this to stay up to date. Biggest pile of cow manure ever!! There are a couple of things I do like--tabbing on more than one link, so you can view more than one webpage without having to manual open another instance of your browser and the junk mail neatly filed and deleted in one stroke. But these advantages are far outweighed by all the bugs in this software.

Ah, gotcha. I think I did get the e-mail from hotmail.
EDIT: I think it's best to wait maybe a year before getting the newer version. Like when I took my computer in to get it looked at, I had IE 6. Now when I got it back, I have IE 7 and I wanted to upgrade it but was worried what kind of problems I would have and don't have any problems now.
