Just heard that on ESPN, and he will be a step up from Romeo Crennel so I say go for it.
They only made the playoffs twice since he has been the coach in 89

The Browns got a real decent talent squad. They just need proper coaching. They showed they can be good primetime players against the Giants and Bills. I don't know if Marty wants that headache. As good as a coach he is, he never got any of his teams to the big game.

I don't think he needs to win the BIG GAME in Cleveland, i think Browns fans will be satisfied with a early playoff exit.

I think Marty can build that team into a contender. He's been a winner everywhere he's gone. Look what has happened to the Chargers just two years after he left? I don't think all those playoff defeats where his fault. Back in the late '80's, he just happened to run into a great QB named John Elway who broke his and Cleveland's heart.
