But I just can't believe they lost MrCleveland 12-07-2008, 06:38 PM Is there hope for any NFC East Team now besides the Giants? mriggles 12-07-2008, 08:59 PM Did not see this one coming. Well it doesn't matter in all reality...Bottom line is the eagles beat the champs in their house & anyone who can't recognize that as a great feat is just bitter Brian Damage 12-07-2008, 09:41 PM Congrats on the win Mike, the Eagles were ready to play today. Big C 12-07-2008, 09:41 PM the eagles beat the champs in their house & anyone who can't recognize that as a great feat is just bitter Believe me- I am impressed. I did not see it coming, and was shocked that it happened. mriggles 12-07-2008, 09:43 PM Congrats on the win Mike, the Eagles were ready to play today. Thanks pal, I appreciate it... I thought the eagles could win, but I never thought they would dominate them like that TVFactFan 12-07-2008, 09:44 PM solomon I love ya man, but that is one of the weirdest statements you have ever said on these boards Come on Mike, it wasn't only but 2 weeks ago when they TIED cincy and couldn't score and then all of a sudden they are going to transform into this great team in December when the Giants, and skins, and boys have been dominating them this season? It would be easier to accept next season but I'm not going to buy into that the Eagles are just back out of nowhere when they played like sh*t the entire month of November and now in December they are a new team? I will think that the NFL is staged like the WWF. Brian Damage 12-07-2008, 09:47 PM no problem Mike, you know I saw this coming. TVFactFan 12-07-2008, 09:50 PM no problem Mike, you know I saw this coming. I damm sure didn't. I will think that the NFL is staged like the WWF. how do you explain the giants then last year??? The giants did the same thing last year... THey were putrid in november (the vikings came comes to mind) They lost 44-17 or something like that & eli got picked 5 times... Then they turned it on in december.... The steelers did it as well a few years back... You & i both know the eagles always play well in december & if they get in there is nothing at all suspicious about it.... If that does happen I would not wanna play them in the first round!!! The nfl season is full of ups & downs & there is nothing suspicious about anything that happens other than some refs calls that favor certain teams week after week mriggles 12-07-2008, 09:56 PM no problem Mike, you know I saw this coming. I know how you feel, I have been there plenty of times, but tonight is not one of those times!!!!!!!!! I am bouncing off walls right now Big C 12-07-2008, 11:01 PM Since Cleveland, the Eagles' next opponent, is throwing Ken Dorsey into the fire for next Monday Night, will the Eagles break their own record of 11 sacks in a game? But then Dallas runs the ball on 3rd and 6 After that 3rd and 6 call, I knew they were going to lose. It's like they were trying to run out the clock with over 7 minutes left in the game. Very poor play calling. TVFactFan 12-08-2008, 01:06 AM After that 3rd and 6 call, I knew they were going to lose. It's like they were trying to run out the clock with over 7 minutes left in the game. Very poor play calling. I just don't see how Romo can still be the starter in 2010 if the Cowboys miss the playoffs this year and don't win a playoff game next year. He is not a franchise QB BTW: I called it on the zone, before Dallas took over on downs with the score tied at 13, I said he was going to either throw a INT or Fumble. I don't trust him Mr. Television 12-08-2008, 01:12 AM I just don't see how Romo can still be the starter in 2010 if the Cowboys miss the playoffs this year and don't win a playoff game next year. He is not a franchise QB BTW: I called it on the zone, before Dallas took over on downs with the score tied at 13, I said he was going to either throw a INT or Fumble. I don't trust him Romo is a good QB but he's not a great one. I don't know if he ever will be. He'll win some games and then turn right around and lose some. He's too inconsistent. They're really destroying him over on the Zone. The honeymoon is definately over....and I don't want to hear that he's another Danny White. Until he takes the Cowboys to an NFC Championship game, his name shouldn't even be mentioned with Danny's. TVFactFan 12-08-2008, 01:22 AM Romo is a good QB but he's not a great one. Would you rather go back to the days of Bledsoe, Vinny, and Quincy Carter? Mr. Television 12-08-2008, 01:51 AM Would you rather go back to the days of Bledsoe, Vinny, and Quincy Carter? No I'd rather go back to the days of Roger and Troy. QB's who knew how to win and wouldn't except anything less. That's all their saying over on the Zone too. Like those guys should have ever been Cowboys in the first place. Actually I take that back...Vinnie and Drew were good QBs in their time but were past their prime by the time they became Cowboys. Quincy, Chad, Ryan , Drew , Clint and all those other idiots never should have been Cowboys in the first place. The fact that no other NFL team wanted them after they left Dallas should tell you what kind of Qbs they were. jacktripper1 12-08-2008, 03:45 AM Great win for the Eagles & all their fans. This Giants loss can come back to haunt them in the coming weeks. It could help the Carolina Panthers in the long run. This senario may be far-fetched or wishful thinking, but, if the Panthers could win out, they would finish 13-3 & be 1st seed with a bye week in the playoffs. At worst hopefully 2nd seed with a bye in the playoffs. Never know what can happen, but just take it one week at a time. Go Pathers tomorrow night over Tampa Bay!! So where the hell have you been all of a sudden, a panthers fan who just out of nowhere jacktripper1 12-09-2008, 12:57 AM Dang, you don't have to cuss me!! I am a Miami Dolphins fan & being from N.C., I do pull for the Panthers & hope they do good. But, they did beat the heck out of Tampa Bay & ran all over them & made their defense look like swiss cheese!!! I pull for both Dolphins & Panthers when North Carolina got a home team. That's it, and IMO there's nothing wrong with that!! Wreckless 12-10-2008, 02:20 AM If the Eagles make the playofs it will be the "NATIONAL FIXED LEAGUE" or the National Crybaby League I don't see anybody else complaining Wreckless 12-10-2008, 02:22 AM Don't bother. Solomon would rather jump out of a plane than give the Eagles credit for anything. Yeah really. Thanks to Bandito's team & the Ravens for making this weekend great! Washington LOST, Dallas LOST- another interception by Romo HAHAH, and Eagles win. Wreckless 12-10-2008, 02:39 AM I will congrat you on the win but I'm saying if they run the table and all the other teams start to lose and they get in the playoffs then I don't know if I can take the NFL seriously anymore because it will seem suspicious Stupidest sh*t I've ever heard. The NFL is NOT fixed. Big C 12-10-2008, 03:29 AM Solomon will come up with any excuse. If a cornerback slips and Westbrook goes for a touchdown, Sol will claim a referee threw a banana peel at the CB! jacktripper1 12-10-2008, 04:09 AM If the NFL was fixed, the league would have made sure Dan Marino would have won a Super Bowl before he retired. With his status in the NFL, they would have made sure it got done, just like John Elway. That's proof enough really to show it is not fixed. Wreckless 12-10-2008, 01:02 PM Solomon will come up with any excuse. If a cornerback slips and Westbrook goes for a touchdown, Sol will claim a referee threw a banana peel at the CB! Right, he can NEVER give them any credit, not one bit. Then he'll talk crap and usually my team beats him anyway. Like earlier this year, he was talking crap about the Mets and Phillies. He was like, I'M LOOKING FOR YOU, in a gayish way, when the regular season wasn't even over yet. Then the Muts missed the playoffs and the Phillies made the playoffs. The Phillies won the division while the NYM and Mr. Santana sat at home. Then he still kept talking. He talked while putting up this, Phillies won't win the championship, avatar. Then the Phillies proceeded to win the NLCS over Milwaukee, even beating CC SABATHIA. Then the Phillies went on to kill the Dodgers, in an easy series, beating them 4 games to one. Then we went to the World Series, facing the best team in the majors, with the second most wins this season (behind the Angels), and even through the sh*t talking of TJ Simers, the inclimate weather, the stupidity of Bud Selig, the Phillies proceeded to win the World Series. Essentially, I cheered, went to the parade in Philly, while Solomon was eating his words. See I hate Dallas, but I don't constantly say things like "THEY SUCK" or after a big win, I don't make excuses and say the league is FIXED just because they won. Looks like, IF the Eagles beat out the Cowgirls again for a playoff spot, I will have to make him eat his words AGAIN. Are you in that mood yet? mriggles 12-10-2008, 10:21 PM Solomon will come up with any excuse. If a cornerback slips and Westbrook goes for a touchdown, Sol will claim a referee threw a banana peel at the CB! as sad as that sounds it is pretty much true Wreckless 12-10-2008, 11:43 PM If the NFL was fixed, the league would have made sure Dan Marino would have won a Super Bowl before he retired. With his status in the NFL, they would have made sure it got done, just like John Elway. That's proof enough really to show it is not fixed. Exactly. Some people just don't get it though lol.
