On Saturday, the annual Army/Navy game will take place in Philadelphia.
I know one team really sucks and the other is far superior, but that still is a meaningful game with great rivals and high emotion.
I have read many articles about what this game is all about, and they really are good.
I always enjoy watching this game.
What are YOUR thoughts on Army/Navy?
Solomon, you live in Philly- I'll bet you have been to a couple of those games.
iggles, Wreckless- what about you guys?

My son is a graduate of West Point, so the game is very meaningful to us. (In fact, it will be on TV in about an hour).
I used to go to a big brunch for the game with Military Academy parents and Naval Academy parents--and we'd have a friendly rivalry, cheering on our respective teams.
When I was a bit younger, my brother and I would watch the game at home. My brother is an ex-Marine; I'm ex-Army. When Army scored, he'd have to do push-ups; and when Navy scored, I'd have to do push-ups.
The best thing I like about the Army/Navy game is all the tradition surrounding it. When the cadets and midshipmem march in at the beginning, with the honor guard and the American flag, I always get a little choked up.
At the end of (and sometimes, during) the game, the announcers point out, rightly so, that although these teams are fierce rivals on the football field, when it comes to after college, they all fight on the same side, namely for our country.

I have been to 2 army navy games...one at the linc & one at the vet & let me say this.. The cadets stand on my seat & the next home game after the army navy game I always find my seat to be disgustingly dirty with foot prints and all that on it..... LOL
As far as the games go, they are rarely exciting
