LOL

I loved the look on his face when the sentence came down. Don't drop the soap OJ!!!

(Actually, what's even better is that he'll be in solitary because of his noteriety).

What galls me is that he apologized to the judge. Yah sure - cuz he knew his ass was in a sling. Has he ever apologized to the Goldmans or Browns or anyone else in his entire life??

I think we should all find out the mailing address to his prison and send him a single leather glove - cuz now any of them could fit!!! ;)

This guy is not only a cold-blooded double murderer but is STUPID. He actually got away with slaughtering two people, and he couldn't stay out of trouble after that. He should get an additional 20 years for stupidity.

I highly doubt that he'll have a hard time in prison, I see special treatment (non sexual for you dirty minded folks) heading his way especially from the inmates.

He didn't look so smug today, did he?

The judge gave out a very fair sentence. Certainly not a light sentence and certainly not too harsh.

I think I predicted back in October the sentence would be 10-20 years.

From what I've heard, he will get special treatment, but not of the good type.
He will be kept isolated much of the time. I believe I also heard that he will be alone during his meals. It won't be solitary confinement, but it's not much better than that.

I know right. All he had to do was stay out of the public eye and to not get in trouble. STUPID, but very funny. They were talking to the Goldmans afterwards.

True. The killer of an innocent woman and a young man won't endear Simpson to most prisoners. His fellow barbarians won't care, but those serving time, for example; an accidental killing during a robbery, are of a whole other breed of killers. There are killers, and then there are KILLERS.

Not too bad, people with agoraphobia does that 365  He will probably get out for good behavior before his 15 years are up.

I heard it was going to be solitary!

O.J. Simpson’s solitary ending

Then there's the whole exerpt here:

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=dw-ojsimpson120308&prov=yhoo&type=lgns

but the end of it also reads:

The one-time most famous defendant in the country, the center of a media storm like almost no other, the touchstone figure of a decade, will head off to a Nevada prison for perhaps the rest of his life.

Due to his celebrity, he’ll spend it in solitary.

But he doesn't have agoraphobia. ;)

And don't bet on him getting out for "good behavior." He is in Nevada, not liberal Los Angeles.

That's for sure. Simpson loves the wide open spaces, the golf course being his favorite.

OJ is obviously on the trail of the real killers of Nicole Sipmson and Ron Goldman. Maybe these mysterious killers are in prison for another charge - or maybe someone in prison knows the identity of the real killers!

Genius!

I always said that if he could stay out of trouble, people who didn't think he was guilty of murder could at least say, well maybe he's a peaceful person. but after an armed robbery, it shows what kind of person he is for all who were in doubt

I can't believe how DUMB this guy really is!!! His luck finally ran out after so many scrapes with the law following his acquittal.

But, alas, the cynic in me says...the prosecutor will have a FANTASTIC steak dinner tonight (and will probably be nominated for Governor of Nevada soon)!

....and so it goes....

Maybe he can build a (really tiny) golf course in his jail cell?

I take it you are being sarcastic. Anyway, I am glad to see
that justice was finally served on O.J.. I do, however, feel
sorry for that other guy that was caught up with him. In
his case, I hope the court is not too hard on him. He deserves
some leniency. As for O.J., just throw away that key.

and what a fititng sentence it was. oj couldn't have expected to run away from the law forever; come on...you get away with murder & then you're dumb enough to get in trouble again? he was asking for it. i looooved the judge. we were watching the sentencing live in my poli sci class and my whole class was so happy when she sentenced him to a minimum of 15 years. justice was served. he can't keep committing crimes & expecting to get away with them. and apologizing before the sentencing did absolutely nothing for him. neither did his motion for bail. haha.

I was at work, eating my lunch in the cafeteria, and all eyes were glued to the TV as the verdict was televised. Wow!!
