This is probably more suited for the Politics board, but check out what our own "Richie C" said comparing the Bush/Cheney team to Nixon in Watergate, and even brushed off criticism for supporting Obama!!! http://newsbusters.org/blogs/tim-graham/2008/12/02/ron-howard-nixon-crimes-pale-comparison-bush-cheney
What's gotten into him? :angryfire

even actors have political opinions and they do have a right to express them and support whomever they choose to, but of course they run the risk of alienating half of their fanbase by voicing those opinions.
this board is NOT the appropriate place for debating politics; if you are unhappy with Ron's opinions that is fine, but this isn't the place for it.

I don't know whats up with Ron. Comparing Bush to Watergate is a bit over the top for me. He must have better things to do than make a movie about someone who isn't running for President. Maybe he didn't realize Bush can't run for a 3rd term.

Of course everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion, but I can't stand it when celebs get all political. It just rubs me the wrong way.

That's the same way with me. I've always liked Ron and will always love his shows' but celebrities that get on their soapbox just alienates me.
