My husband and I will celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary on Dec.7th(Pearl Harbor Day):lol: I just can't believe it! We certainly have had our ups and downs through the years but it was all worth it! :cheers:

I guess the secret will remain a secret. :lol: My grandparents were married over 50 years and the secret for them was my grandpa did everything that my grandma asked of him. Also a lot of little bickering arguements over small things. Oh yeah and don't forget true love. :love:

My secret? Sorry I really can't pinpoint anything.A sense of commitment I guess. It's a matter of principle to both of us. It takes 2 to keep a marriage going. Also having a family to raise is a lot of incentive. My parents and grandparents were each married over 50 years. Till death did they part. I am sure that will remain the same for Dave and me. And, oh yes, love is a big factor too!;)
