What do you want for gifts. We all want world peace, good health, harmony, etc., but what do you want for...

I want some more DVDs for my collection, a PSP (Playstation portable), the new Eminem book, some little things for my room....that's the big stuff. Oh I also want a Sony Wii but I don't know if I can get that this year.

I honestly don't want anything. I know that may sound bad, but materialistically I'm pretty content, and infact, I think I'm a little overstimulated by all the material things in my life. I told my family that I don't want anything, but if they do end up getting me something, I'd prefer a gift certificate, or better yet, money. Something that I actually need you know?

True, true, I can definitely use some new clothes. I guess that, and shoes would be an exception. I definitely need to update my wardrobe anyway.

I really don't want anything at all from my loved ones this year. They have all helped me enough.

But I do "wish" for a super sweet new laptop so I can finally put my ancient desktop PC out of it's low-gig misery.

And for the Wachowski Brothers to stop making movies.

Seriously, have you seen Speed Racer? Total crap.

i have nooo clue. other than a navigation system for my car and maybe a gift certificate for a massage (lol), i have no preferances. i'm not too picky when it comes to gifts either & i can never tell people exactly what i want. dvds or cds are always good in my opinion though.

A cooling pad for my new laptop and that little gadget you install in your car to play your iPod (I forget what it's called). If no one gets me those, I can always get them myself later on. :D Oh, and I'd always welcome a personally autographed photo of Gregory Sierra, if I can ever find out where he is so I can write him. ;)

I picked what I wanted finally. My husbands been pestering me about what I want but I can't think of anything. But I decided today, the first gift I picked is practical - an electronic key locator. Brookstones has them for $50 but i bought Target's version off ebay (new in box) for $21, which had a lot more features. The Brookstones version only had two keychain locators and a wireless base while this one had 4 locators and also velcro to attach to a remote control or cell phone if desired plus the wireless base. This is a must for me since I'm very disorganized and scatter brained. I almost missed work one night because I couldn't find my keys. I called my boss to call out and he yelled at me saying I better get to work or else, so my husband had to drive me to work and I had my stepbrother pick me up in the morning!

Anyway my 2 other gifts I picked were 2 Miracle On 34TH Street photos off ebay. So I got everything I wanted!

As you know, Whitburn compiles lists of the top songs of every year from 1891 onward. He sees how many times they made the top 100, the top 50, top 40, top 20, gross sales, then charts them from 1-whatever. Some years there are 600 songs that at one time during the year made the top 100 at least once. He has compiled charts for pop, R & B and country. He puts these lists in books and sells them for pricey amounts.

Many of us have all the songs on dvds in order, usually one dvd per year. The early years have maybe the top 50, so there are many songs on one disk.
For 1902, the top 50 aren't bad. A little scratchy put still good to listen to.

I have two dvds of the top 40, by month for the 1970's. Each month in it's own folder, in dvd format. The 2 dvds have over 2400 songs.
With Nero, easy to convert to audio cds if you wish.

If you tell email me at lilhave at aol dot com where to send, I will send you the dvds.

This is just for Lee
