Many people think that It's a Wonderful Life is a christmas movie. To be honest, I don't see it that way. Yes, most of the present stuff is set on Christmas Eve night but it's not this one night it's his whole life they look back and the flashbacks have nothing to do with Christmas.

Anybody else think the way I do???

Can't say that I do...ironically, when it was originally shown, they put it in theatres in the summer season, and, not surprisingly, it bombed!
(Now, it's considered a classic....I watch it every year, along with the 1953 Alastair Simm version of Scrooge)
